The Ideal Winnipesaukee Lakefront Retreat Right In Meredith Bay

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by hosting our two sons, their wives and 7 grandchildren on this lakefront rental. The home was comfortable and allowed each family to have their own floor. The amenities available such as standup paddle boards, kayaks, a beach, a game room, a spa, a bunk room for kids, a kitchen and barbecue with all the necessities, a fire pit, a dock for fishing or boating kept us all busy and most importantly—happy being together. I never heard the words “I’m bored” from any grandchild ages 15 to 5. Tye the owner host communicated helpfully whenever a question or issue arose. Enjoy some time in this beautiful setting!

What a glorious 50th Wedding Anniversary family reunion at Water’s Edge on gorgeous Lake Winnipesaukee! The well-appointed, spacious and fully-equipped house was perfect for our immediate family of 16 (which included 8 grandkids ages 2 to 14). The incredible welcome basket, sandy beach and ABUNDANT water toys were enjoyed by all. Everyone loves to cook, so family meals were great fun with the fabulous kitchen, grill and huge dining table. Communication was excellent – speedy responses to all our questions and requests. Thank you, Tye for sharing your extraordinary home, allowing us to create cherished memories!

This property is outstanding for all ages and a wonderful location for extended family gatherings. The hosts have provided everything you might want or need. And the Meredith area has activities for all interests within an hour drive. Both a lovely and comfortable home!

This is our second stay at this property. We would highly recommend it.

Beautiful house right on the lake. Very clean. Lots of room for our group of 11 to hand out together indoors and outdoors. Most nights were spent around the outdoor fire pit. We rented a boat from the local marina, parked at the private dock and spent most of the day on the lake. House is also stocked with canoes, kayaks, pebble boards and bicycles - which was great and all had been well maintained. Host was very responsive. Absolutely no complaints, would recommend for anyone.

This house was an amazing vacation spot for our family family of 11. Kids ages ranged from 5 months to 8 years and 6 adults. The kids had the best time. The house is set up so well for multiple families. The waterfront setting was great for lots of water sports. And there are so many fun water toys in the garage from inner tubes to paddle boards. Also many bicycles available also. We also rented a pontoon boat and could leave it right at the dock at the house, so convenient. The house is very well equipped with anything you could need. Tye, the owner was so available by text to answer any questions we had. We loved our stay here and would like to return next year.

We celebrated our anniversary with our adult children, their spouses and grandchildren.The location was ideal, on the lake and walk or bike to town. The home was equipped with every amenity you could need and wish for.

Besides being a gorgeous property perfect for families with young kids with its safe little beach, this was the best equipped home we’ve ever stayed at in our years of renting vacation homes. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need for a great time, from paddle boards, kayaks and bikes to details like a well-stocked keurig coffee machine and everything needed to enjoy s’mores around the fire pit. The location is great, too, with restaurants, shops and attractions all within a short drive. I give it 5 well-earned stars.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at the house. Great location, wonderful beach/dock and a home equipped with everything needed to make for a relaxed enjoyable vacation. Tye is a great host and was extremely responsive anytime I needed to contact him.

The house is beautiful and extremely well stocked, the location is perfect, and we made great use of the kayaks and paddle boards out on the lake. We had a great time at Tye's place on the lake! He was very responsive to any questions we had. The place was beautiful and all the kids enjoyed playing in the water, in the sand and in the backyard. We are already thinking ahead to booking at his place again next summer!

Kids had a great time plenty of things to do

My family and I had an incredible stay at Tye's beautiful place in Meredith over the 4th of July week this year. Communication leading up to our stay was on point, and Tye was extremely generous with the amenities available to his guests, ranging from use of the dock (we rented a pontoon from Meredith Marina - his suggestion and it was perfect!), the hot tub, grille and countless lake toys. The house itself is impeccable with incredible wood work and an attention to detail that really makes you feel like this is a well planned home, not just a stale or transient rental property which many other lake rentals can feel like. Wifi, AC and all electronics worked beautifully, bedrooms and bathrooms are nicely equipped and the kitchen is as stocked in terms of appliances, cookware, serving dishes etc which was great for nights we decided to cook indoors vs going out or grilling. The grill worked fantastic and in terms of going out, Tye provided great local recommendations for restaurants as well as local markets to source fantastic ingredients. Altogether we had 5 adults and 3 children sleeping there and the house felt massive for our needs, clearly able to accommodate a much larger group if needed. We particularly appreciated that bedrooms are spread across each floor, giving everyone space while also having great centralized entertaining areas for when we all wanted to be together. All in all, a great stay and look forward to going again!

This large house wonderfully accommodated our large family gathering to celebrate 60 years of marriage. We made use of 2 of the inflatable mattresses allowing everyone to spread out throughout the house. The kitchen was well stocked and the view from the family room and dining area is beautiful. We enjoyed our time at the fire pit and the hot tub and the easy access to the lake. Our younger family members loved the upstairs game room. The house came with many kayaks, paddle boards and other water toys that were a big bonus. There is also plenty of parking on the property. Finally, Tye was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.
