Camp Spindle is an authentic example of the camp style homes of Winnipesaukee. We have incredible lake views from every room in the house. Our home is located at the end of a gorgeous peninsula on Lake Winnipesaukee and features a 40’ stone lighthouse built in 1892.
7 day minum stay (Saturday to Saturday) but please let us if your stay is shorter. Enjoy the sunrise on the 40’ dock and the sunset from Adirondack chairs out in the yard or down at the Lighthouse.
Catch up on reading and enjoy the breeze at the point or enjoy lunch at the picnic table unde the pine trees.
The generous screen porch provides a shady spot to enjoy the day.
Watch the 230’ excursion boat Mt. Washington cruise by day and night, enjoy spectacular firework displays from the house, gaze out upon Gunstock Mountain and Red Hill, look skywards to spot the bald eagles, or listen to the beautiful call of the loon.
Swim, fish or sit in the sun and relax down at the dock or stroll down the pine needle-covered pathway to the Point where you are surrounded by incredible mountain and lake views. Once at the Lighthouse you can swim in a sandy bottom, shallow cove or watch the sunset across the bay.

Wonderful, secluded spot. Quiet, peaceful and rustic.
Beautiful setting, magical water for swimming with kids especially enjoying both sides of the point depending on waves and wind, and the house and yard are so well-cared for, obviously a labor of love by the welcoming hosts, Tom and Marcy
We loved the views from the cottage, they were amazing. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Would highly recommended this place!
Check in was as expected. Surrounded on 3 sides be crystal clear water. Surprised to find it sandy on the point with the lighthouse. If you like relaxing and love boat watching honestly the best spot on the lake. House has plenty of room. Thank you for a great vacation
My family had a magical week at this place
Spectacular views! Ever changing weather. :) Peaceful.
What a perfect week we had at the lake! The property is gorgeous. All that was missing was a fire pit for the cool evenings lakeside! Cabin was a bit more rustic/original than I expected for the price but it was comfortable. The dock fit our rental pontoon great and we had a great time forgetting about the worries of the real world. Thank you!
Our second stay at Spindle Point was as great as our first. The house is cozy, has everything you need, and is spotless. The property itself is one of a kind--lake on three sides, clear water, sandy bottom with a protected area for swimming, and great boat watching. Tom and Marcy are very responsive hosts and made sure everything was perfect. Hope we can come for another stay soon!
This cabin is out on a narrow peninsula with everything we needed. Comfortable beds and a Winnipesaukee location that can't be beat. Eagle, loons, squirrels, birds, ducks...fireworks across the bay on Saturdays in mid-summer. Even weathered Isaias storm well. We had a great week. Tom and Marcy were the right amount of responsive and greeted us to get us settled. Would definitely recommend a stay at Spindle Point.
This is a wonderful spot. With the lake on three sides of the house, it almost feels like being on a boat! Our kids loved hanging out at the tip of the property by the lighthouse. The house is super comfortable, and Tom and Marcy are very attentive and helpful hosts, and have equipped the house with everything you need. The WiFi is very good, and enabled us to work/school remotely while enjoying a beautiful spot. There are many things to do nearby, and kayaking and swimming on the lake is sublime. The house is also convenient to food stores, shopping and restaurants. It’s a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. We’d love to go back!
