Stayed Nov 26, 2025We had a wonderful stay at The Homestead! It is becoming a family tradition that our oldest son and daughter-in-law, who live in the area, host Thanksgiving and the rest of us make a long weekend of it. This house fit the bill for us in so many ways. Location of course, but also 3 good size bedrooms with very comfortable queen beds, a large and well equipped kitchen where we could easily have our other meals, and a family room with plenty of seats for all of us to relax, play games, and watch TV. Communication with the host and responsiveness to questions and needs was 100% excellent. We would happily make this our Thanksgiving home next year as well!

Stayed Jul 26, 2025Great house! Easy walk to town. Kids had fun running around on the huge lawn and cooking S’mores over the firepit. Travis is a wonderful host and was very responsive.

Stayed May 8, 2025Have rented this property and others from this owner multiple times. The Homestead is roomie, with lots of light and a kitchen/living space that is so inviting to gather in. The bedrooms are roomy with extra linens and pillows and some amazing views. Ample parking and close proximity to many things. Very responsive hosts!

Stayed Aug 8, 2024This is one of the cleanest properties I've ever stayed in. Usually there are some knick-knacks collecting dust, or areas in the house that look like they've been forgotten about-not here! And the property itself is really beautiful, with a gi-normous, expansive lawn and easily-usable fire pit, which was great for making s'mores. The highlight of the trip for me was probably the porches. One is screened-in and just offers amazing views of the property. The other is not screened in, but also offers amazing views, all with really comfortable seating! We had a great stay and would definitely come back. Thanks!
