Stayed Sep 20, 2021The property had a delightful old timey decor, it is a historical building after all. My friends and I loved it. The dining table was perfect for board games and the outdoor area had a great set up for relaxing outside or grilling out. The property manager was really responsive and welcoming, too. The lounging areas were cozy. We will definitely be renting this place again, we might make it an annual tradition. We didn't get a chance to use the karaoke machine, we'll have to try it out next time.

Stayed Sep 17, 2021Such a unique place to stay! This house has so much character, many antiques to enjoy, and everything a person needs when staying somewhere is there. Would stay again.

Stayed May 5, 2025My friends and I get together once a year and look forward to a carefree, pleasant experience. The charming but dusty cluttered rooms created a less than desirable place to hang out. The kitchen has little room for guests to put their own things and food prep was nearly impossible. The bedrooms have almost no space for guests to set our their personal items. The host was quick to respond to issues of safety that came up but lack of cleanliness was the most upsetting.

Stayed Mar 8, 2025The house was simply wonderful and Signe was a gem as a host. We stayed for a couple of nights during our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay immensely! Classic china and silverware, old draperies and bedsteads and a beautiful little house in a quiet, homey neighborhood. It was lovely! Thanks so much!

Stayed Sep 22, 2024The house was fine. Accommodations wete fine. But my desire to be plastic free, sustainable and to leave little footprint was stymied by plastics and electricity everywhere

Stayed Jul 25, 2024This house is a lovely Victorian House that has been restored. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is available in the house and the lovely backyard. The bedrooms especially are tastefully decorated and spacious. Each has a different theme and the beds are comfortable. The owners are very proud of this house having lovingly restored it and are always thinking and planning on more restorations. Communication from the owners was impeccable and detailed making check in and use of the house easy. They also have clear notes in the house, so we would know how to use the appliances. I found the notes very helpful. The location was great for us and near grocery stores and restaurants. It was easy to get to the places in La Crosse we wanted to visit. Our stay exceeded our expectations. A return visit is in order!

Stayed Jun 27, 2024A unique and charming historical home, full of character and interest. Host provides a wealth of information. We lived lightly (didn’t cook, use tv or music system), found beds were comfy, home is well stocked. Quiet area, lovely backyard. Special bonus was knowing our stay helped rescued horses at owners’ sanctuary. We’d definitely return!
