Morris was the founder of the University of WI-La Crosse and Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin. We are conveniently located just a five minute walk to the university and a ten minute walk to a thriving downtown area. Stayed Aug 7, 2025This well-kept apartment is a great choice for a stay in La Crosse. With a quiet back entrance and in easy walking distance to the center of town, it’s perfectly located. The apartment itself is very clean, comfortable and well-furnished. Bed is super comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. Everything was easy and prompt when communicating with Susan and Tan. Definitely recommend!

Stayed Jun 19, 2025We would definitely stay there again. We met at UW-L and got married in 1982. We were within walking distance of campus,explored downtown and the LaCrosse Queen, ate at Howies, hiked Grandads Bluff and more. It was so much fun to reconnect with our UW-L past. We bought some New Glarus beer and put it in the fridge which we forgot when we left. We got a call from our host while we were eating breakfast to let us know we had forgotten to take it. Thank You!!!!! Since we are from Minnesota we can’t buy it where we live. Thanks again for the call!!!The Morris House is a wonderful place to stay! Check it out

Stayed Jun 14, 2024Perfect location to visit my student at UWL. Easy check in and fantastic location. It was clean and as described. I enjoyed the outdoor area during my June visit. Also it was quiet and I had a good nights sleep, I will stay here again.
