The Hiouchi House with Hot Tub

Hiouchi House is by far one of the best vacation homes located with the Pacific Nortwest. Lovely, spacious, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. My family enjoyed every minute. We will return again and again. Thank you for the superfine hospitality.

house is huge! there were 8 adults and 3 children. more than enough room. good location and close to Jed Smith Park. Nothing compares to swimming in the Smith and walking thru the redwoods!

Overall the property is nice and fit our needs perfectly for our family trip. The main issue was lack of cleaning thoroughly. The floors looked clean but absolutely were not. After walking around we all noticed our feet were black and even with socks they all got dirty. Both up and downstairs. The mop in the garage that they probably use was disgusting. In addition it appeared they don’t ever dust the fans, shelves and other areas. Very disappointed with the level of cleaning standards. We even had to wash towels due to them smelling, almost as they were left in the washer for days. Paying the price that we did we expected higher level of service. Need a new cleaner!

The house was beautiful, and well equipped with modern amenities. Great spaces for our big family to gather together and spread out. All bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable. The location was ideal for exploring the rivers, redwoods and ocean beaches. We give it a 10 out of 10!

House was exactly what we needed and the hosts were very prompt to respond to questions. Unfortunately, the house was somewhat dirty (hair in showers, used bandaid on the floor, a used tissue in a bed, drywall dust on the master bath floor from a recent repair, and the dishes were dirty in general.

Great place to stay. Tucked in the trees and very quiet. Hot tub was nice and the outside sitting area was great. Awesome place to stay!

This house was perfect for a family gathering. It is big with enough room for everyone to be comfortable. It has lots of amenities and was very clean. The communication with our host was great and they responded to any questions I had very quickly.

Everything was clean and the house was large enough for an extended family vacation. Great location and we definitely recommend it for a family vacation.

Fantastic stay for our family! The only things that could be improved upon are the two white sofas in the main living space. They were extremely uncomfortable and hard to get out of. Other than that, everything was perfect. The beds were extremely comfortable and everything was so nice and clean.

The Hiouchi house was exactly what we needed. Perfect home with loads of space and a great layout. Loads of storage for a large group. Great location close to town and the Redwoods, but far enough out that you felt a little secluded (in a good way).

Very nice newer home. Clearly set up for large groups. All of the adult beds are the same. The mattresses are fairly soft which is what I needed. Everything was in working order and looked great.

We have traveled to Crescent City many times over the past few years, this is our new favorite find! Plenty of room for our group to spread out as needed, and plenty of room to spend time together as well. Property was beautiful inside and out, it was perfect for our large family.

Nice house. Great location

My husband and I, Grandma and Grandpa, reserved this home for our annual family vacation. This year was the Redwoods and Oregan Coast. The location of this home is perfect. Within a 1/2 of both experiences. The home has several bedroom configurations that allowed the teenagers to stay upstairs, with their own amenities, while the adults and 5 yr. old had comfortable quarters downstairs. Lots of linens, beds are very comfortable.This home was perfect for the 5 yr. old with all sorts of toys she totally loved. Lots of seating for breakfasts and dinner. Televisions in every bedroom and living space. Everything is updated and clean. We have been reserving VRBO homes since 2018, and this home is by far the best experience we have had. Thank you Ben!!!

We had a great stay. There is lots of space and the house worked well for our family of 12. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Not only was it beautiful but also comfortable. Comfortable beds, cozy linens, well appointed kitchen, and room for our large group. Conveniently located near many parks, trails, and Crescent City. Can’t recommend this home enough!
