Taylor II House, ocean view, close to everything

We did not take our dog and we did not use the laundry. This home is wonderful. Very clean, open space, 3 bedrooms all with king beds. Playground across the street. We will stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

What a beautiful property. It had all the amenities you would want in this day and age. It was perfect for our family and still had room for more! Location was ideal. Would definitely recommend it and come back again!

Great place, beautiful area!!

We used the Taylor House II for our elopement and it was perfect! Super clean, great amenities, AWESOME location - close to both the beach and the Redwoods. The shower in the primary bedroom in particular is amazing! The dog enjoyed the back yard as we played corn hole and used the fire pit. The one thing that would have been helpful is directions on how to use the TV and Roku, for us poor technologically challenged individuals, haha! Other than that, 10/10 recommend this property for a stay in Crescent City!

Everything was okay

Maria was very communicative and easy to work with. It is a beautifully spacious house in a wonderful location - especially for those traveling with pets. A secure fenced yard with grass and park right across the street with a cliff-side trail for walks just a block away. Easy drives to Redwoods and sandy beaches. Nothing in town is too far away. Great seafood!

The best feature of this home was how close it was to things we wanted to explore (redwoods, tide pools, beaches). There was plenty of space for our family to spread out. We had difficulty with reliable wifi and as other people mentioned the beds were not very comfortable. We also had a van parked blocking part of the driveway, which has been noted in other reviews. I do appreciate our host was quick to reply when we had wifi challenges. Unfortunately unplugging and replugging did not help.

This house is very roomy and clean. The backyard was just the right size for my dog to run around and fully fenced. We would definitely stay at this house again.Only thing that didn't work was the Internet. We used our mobile hotspot to stream.

This was a beautiful home, very large and located right near the coast. Beautiful sunset within walking distance. I can’t believe how nice and comfortable this property was with private back patio, quiet neighborhood, and great kitchen. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a great time! Enjoyed all the trails and the beach. So many beautiful redwoods! The weather was perfect. Our VRBO was in a great location. Easy access to all the trails and the ocean. The place was very clean and large and had all the amenities we needed. We only used one of the bedrooms but there was plenty room for several families. Great vacation!

Very clean! Great proximity to town/ beach & redwoods

The house was clean and had a full kitchen including a coffee maker. It's located next to a playground and field. Walk across the field and you can look out at the ocean. The location is near everything. The host answered questions in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our stay. We spent very little time in the house because we were out exploring the Oregon beaches and the California Redwoods.

Taylor house did it again!! If I have to pick a house, I pick Taylor home again and again!! Our host Maria is amazing!! Love everything about this home!!

We couldn't have been more pleased with this well thought out and comfortable property. I want to thank the host for making such home away from home available for people to rent, as it was our sanctuary on the rainy/drizzly days and our peace after long days of hiking through the Redwoods or just general driving around site seeing. There were all kinds of little extras that made our stay here absolutely perfect. The ocean is SHORT walk away and it was lovely going to our car in the morning to have the sounds and feel of the Pacific greet you. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to our friends.

The house was just what we hoped, great kitchen and lots of room.

It was just what we needed and a good base for all our activities. The four stars were because two of the beds were not that comfortable and friends that were with us complained that maybe the mattresses needed turning. Other than that all was good! Kitchen had everything we needed and there were plenty of towels and linens

Only a couple blocks to the beach. The house looks pretty basic from the outside, but very nicely updated throughout the inside and surprisingly big. Very clean and comfortable. Great place to stay.

Property was amazing with a view of the lighthouse and close to the ocean. Neighbors have a construction company so there were always several vehicles and people next door but the house its of was so great.

Amazing place to stay!

Very Clean, nice home with a lot of amenities and in a nice area, with the redwoods being so, so close. Lots of restaurants. Gorgeous ocean view a block away. Would 100% stay again. Only issue was the walls are very thin. You can hear everything from every room. Mostly fine for us because we all went to bed and got up at the same time and made it work, but I could see it being a problem for families or groups with slightly different schedules. We dried some clothes at bedtime and it kept the whole house up. Couldn’t watch TV in the main bedroom because the person in the guest room could hear it clearly, that sorts of things.

Nice place. Would come back. A couple of suggestions: a pair of scissors, baggies, kleenex. Also if there is a tsunami warning 2 days before our stay, and you are that close to ocean, a quick email stating everything was okay would have been nice.

Taylor House is immaculate, sprawling master suite and close to the ocean! Great place to stay!

The location was so fantastic, with being a block away from the ocean and the park right across the street. Also a great home base for exploring the Redwoods. The home truly felt like a home rather than a rental. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well stocked, the bathrooms and kitchen were very nice, there was more than enough space for our family of 6, we thoroughly enjoyed the games and puzzles, and all of the little touches and amenities were very well thought out. We stayed in 7 different homes on our journey down Hwy 101, and this one was definitely our favorite.

We stayed for two nights in June, we did not need such a large house, but the location and proximity to the ocean was perfect. We did not cook, but kitchen is well stocked, even two dishwashers. We were able to walk to restaurants, the lighthouse and the ocean. The master bedroom and bath are gorgeous, dark wood beamed ceilings, felt like we were in Tahoe. Easy check in and communication with the owner. Fabulous for large groups.

The house was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. The fenced back yard was perfect for the pets. The process was well executed and so easy. Thank you Maria for making our trip so much fun.

We stayed here for our annual family vacation and we were so delighted with this house! It was large, clean, had beautiful rooms, bathrooms and kitchen and the location was fantastic! The beach was a block away with access that we could walk to for our morning and evening strolls on the beach and you could get anywhere in town to eat within 5 minutes and many cool attractions within 20 minutes drive! Ocean World Aquarium, Trees of Mystery, Oregon Border, Jedidiah State Park, etc. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly!

Had a wonderful time visiting the redwoods

A lovely, spacious, comfortable house with a view of the coast a block away. It’s a great launching point to explore the many options to see the amazing redwoods. My only suggestion is to have a sticky note or something to let visitors know that they need to turn on the thermostats by flipping an itty bitty switch under the device. It waspretty chilly the first morning until we figured it out.

This home was perfect for our get together with our granddaughter and her family. We drove from Eastern Oregon and they flew in from Phoenix. We thoroughly enjoyed 4 nights in this lovely home which was wonderful in every way. We would definitely return to this home. Our two little ones loved the park right across the street. Being so close to the amazing Redwoods and the beautiful coast made from fun adventures. My family highly recommends this home away from home! We hope to return in the future!

Two adults, three kids (9,9 and 10) and a dog. Great house with lots of room and everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. Love this house! This is the 3rd time we’ve rented the Taylor II house. 5 stars across the board!

This house is nicer and larger on the inside than it appears from the outside. Although I do not know the history of the house, it appears to have been remodeled in recent years. There is a large park across the street that extends all the way to the ocean. We used the park to play basketball several times. It is a short walk to access steps to the rocky beach. The fenced-in yard was great for our dogs.

A great location with a unique layout perfect for large groups. The entry to the house does have a few steps that might be difficult for those with mobility disabilities.
