The Happy Place - Acre - Fenced Yard - Creek Permit #STR24-03

This was a great birthday vacation the happy place was nice and clean. my family loved the noise of the animals and we even had this beautiful brown and white dog come up to the fence to say hi one day the Neighbor Was walking her horse and she brought it up to the fence so my pup could say hi. The master bathroom had heated floors and a bath tub even i could fit in so comfortably im 5'11 220lb all in all we had a great time and will hopefully be back soon if funds will allow

Great place to get away! It has all the comforts of home and ton of things to do on the property. The kids and dogs loved the creek down below the property. Bob was a great host and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed!

All seven of us agreed that this was the best vacation rental home we have ever been to. Thank you for truly welcoming our pets, and all the attention to detail.

Seldom do we have a WOW-factor at an VRBO. This place really went above and beyond. Clean, perfectly decorated space with everything one could ever need we felt so fortunate with our week stay! Close to town, in a quiet rural area, it became our lovely retreat, esp with the perfect front fenced yard for our 2 dogs.There were just so many extras/details that we kept finding, dog toys, welcome cookies, including the (5 gal waters) we replaced x2, & much needed as we hiked 60 miles that week. Thank you, Bob, it was just the BEST! Hope we can come back next year!

Host was excellent. Directions were spot on. House was perfect for our group. Fenced yard was perfect for the dogs. Especially welcoming for dogs, best ever. Convenient location.

We had such a wonderful experience at The Happy Place! The host is great and very communicative! From the moment you walk in the front door you feel at home with every essential you could possibly need. The location and scenery are incredible and the fact they allow our fur babies is an absolute bonus!! We will definitely stay here again for our next family gathering!

Absolutely one of the best stays in a Vrbo. It was very cozy, inside and outside. Televisions provided in all the rooms, kitchen was well stocked, very peaceful setting. They have thought of everything. We didn’t bring our puppy, but the provisions for those who do is wonderful, and it doesn’t smell like animals were there or have dog hair everywhere.

Everything was perfect for our stay. We were in the area for wedding events in Payson. The dogs were fascinated with the neighbors horses.

Such a beautiful place, and SUPER clean! Host was very responsive even when we arrived at midnight and we couldn’t locate our check in instructions. This location provided items in the household that are above and beyond standard for some rentals. This made the stay even more pleasant. We also enjoyed the remoteness to the property. Got to even see some elk at night wandering the neighborhood! Overall, 10/10 would stay again!

The place was a nice rural location, very accommodating for pet dogs. Fun proximity to a creek / riparian area.Close to Payson and the Rim. The place was exactly as pictured. Very clean and lots of nice extra touches.

The Happy Place is a very well appointed home. You can tell that the owners are experienced in offering vacation rentals that are comfortable and very well appointed. Bob provided great recommendations in the area, even calling a stable for me ahead of arrival and he came and found us in our car when the creek behind his home began to cover the wash, making sure we knew it was safe to cross. Only feedback I provided to Bob personally was regarding the fenced yard being in stones only. My dog is 14 years old and blind so getting around on the stones was hard for him, a patch of grass would be nice. The back patio is lovely for enjoying morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.

Thank you Bob and family for providing a relaxing and beautiful place to stay! The happy place has all the modern amenities with a feel of home away from home. It's a place where you dont even have to go anywhere, we could just hang out at the house. Bob is quick to respond with any questions or suggestions. The place is serene and peaceful...just what I needed. We hope to return again soon! Thanks again!

Overall, everything was very good. The kids had a great time. Very relaxing. My only complaint is that the king size bed was a back breaker. My sister and I couldn’t sleep in it.

The Happy Place is hands down the best house we have ever stayed at. This hidden gem blew our expectations out of the water. From the perfect location tucked back alongside the creek, the beautiful finishings that make the house look like it came out of a Joanna Gaines home, and the wonderful hospitality of Bob and kattie! The creek was beautiful and provided so much fun and entertainment for our kids. It was so quiet and peaceful and honestly an area that I cannot wait to go back! The house was perfect for kids, dogs and adults! Definitely a must stay when visiting the payson area, and we are already looking at the calendar planning our next trip there! Thank you both for the amazing place to call home for a few days!!

Loved this house so much! Loved the back patio and the creek. The house was clean, comfortable and felt like home. Zero issues or complaints. We will stay there again!

My wife and I first stayed at Happy Place in October for a family wedding. Back then it was my wife and I, along with my mother in law and our dogs. We absolutely loved the house, the two living rooms were convenient and the property was gorgeous. My wife and I promised to return as a couple with our dogs and Valentines was the best time. The owner Bob remembered us from the first trip and we both knew the instructions. This second trip was even better. Just relaxing and taking in the cool wooded air. Neighbors are great, walking trials are amazing and we were only a 10 min drive from shopping plazas in case we needed something. We loved every minute and we may return again down the line, that's how great it is out there.

Great comfortable clean place to relax. Hosts were more than helpful and any communication was prompt. Would stay here again and hope to do so again next year.

This is our second time at the Happy Place and once again we had a wonderful time. A very comfortable place with so much to do & see plus a short drive from the Valley. Your kids and dogs well love the running creek on the property. The trees and scenery around the creek will make you feel like you're in a different world. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you'll need. Finally, the hosts went above and beyond with great restaurant & hiking recommendations.

The name of this house is for a reason because it truly is a Happy Place. It was a very large comfortable peaceful house. My wife, mother in law, and sister in law were there for a family wedding near by. We took our dogs and they loved the open front yard. The view was amazing and the neighbors around the house were sweethearts. The host was communicate and always available when we had questions. Check in was easy and the check out even easier compared to other houses we rented in the past. This home is highly recommended for families looking for a calm peace getaway.
