The Driftwood Cottage

The host allowed us an early check in and also checked in with us during our stay to ensure we didnt need anything or have any questions/concerns. The home is very well stocked and clean. Would highly recommended!

This house was very comfortable and the host very responsive. The location is also convenient, with a walking path to the coast nearby and both Capitola and Santa Cruz not far away.

We had everything we needed and then some. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the equipment we needed for our cooking needs, and the living room was a great space for us to enjoy our time together. Unfortunately we had rainy weather so we weren’t able to enjoy the yard, but it looked wonderful.

Very comfortable beds and sitting spaces for everyone. Stocked kitchen. Bikes. My favorite breakfast burritos are walking distance at the local mini market and we loved the ceviche place close by also.

It was a great place to stay with my family and friends. Plenty of space, great out door hang out spot, and close to all the shopping and beaches.

This is the second time we stayed here it has been perfect both times. Great location with walking distance to the point and the two six. Well stocked with toys and supplies. Clean and ready to go. We’ll be back for sure!

Great location and lovely home.

Too Short

We traveled with a group of 6 adults from New York State in early April. Santa Cruz was our first stop in California. The Driftwood Cottage was exactly what we needed. Check in was very simple. The neighborhood was great for early morning (and sunset) walks with the beach only a few short blocks away. Accommodations were comfortable and offered many amenities. There was even coffee provided. The backyard is a great little sanctuary for conversation or quiet reading/reflection. We had no issues and the host was very quick to respond when we had questions. It was a very enjoyable 3 days. Highly recommend.

Convenient location, easy process, well-equipped house.

We absolutely loved our stay. The beachside cottage is te perfect place for a getaway. It's very cozy, the yard is a sanctuary where you can BBQ, read, and enjoy the sun. The property owners were very responsive and attentive. The house is a short walk to the beach and lots of fun things around the area.

Very well appointed. Very attractive landscaping. Very good location. Second visit and happy to stay again.

The location and the amenities of this home were amazing! We enjoyed the bikes, outside patio, nearby beach and restaurants. We highly recommend and hope to stay again soon.
