What a beautiful home. So clean and well appointed.

Great location. Nice place to stay. Clean with plenty of room and we do reccomend it. Only one caveat; technically pets are welcome and we gladly paid a pet upcharge but the pet rules were pretty strict with the threat of additional charges if pet hair was found on the furniture. We are considerate of not leaving a mess of course, but felt a little uncomfortable because of it.

We really enjoyed this home. It was perfect for our family. If we ever go back to that area of Colorado we would definitely stay here again. Thanks again for an amazing property.

The house was amazing, very clean and close to businesses

The Cottage was absolutely WONDERFUL!!! Our family of 5 slept very comfortable!We stayed Feb. 23-28, 2026, to go skiing & ride the Durango Train. It had everything we needed!Kurt was extremely helpful & accommodating to our Denver fly-out circumstance.THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!Also, there is a Mexican Restaurant beside The Cottage, that is very good…. and being from Corpus Christi, TX…. we know good Mexican food!

This cottage had everything and more. My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. You know when you stay at places, and they don’t have any of the little things needed to make dinners? This place had everything. We didn’t have to make any additional trips to the store because the cottage had it all! We loved our stay and will definitely reserve it again.

Perfect, cute little cottage in a quiet town. It had everything we needed and was very clean. I appreciated all the labeling on the light switches, etc. The hot tub was very relaxing. We enjoyed walking around in the vicinity and discovered a fun little thrift store and lots of restaurants nearby! If the weather had been better, the park (also within walking distance) would have been great too.

It was a very comfortable house.

This is what home rentals should be! Filled with home like touches, upgrades, and supplies. Truly felt like a home away from home. Hot tub and deer sightings were wonderful!

The house was perfect. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. This was my second time staying in this house. It iscc cr well located and very reasonably priced. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

The cottage was perfect. Just what we needed for a weekend stay with dogs

We enjoyed our time in this lovely, clean cottage and absolutely loved Bayfield. Its proximity to Pagosa Springs, Durango and all the great hiking trails in the San Juan mountains was perfect for us. We liked Bottom Shelf Brewery so much that we visited twice. Also loved the fenced in yard for the dogs.

The house was beautiful. Amenities were well kept. Location is perfect. Plenty of resting space (slept 1 couple and 3 individuals perfectly). Expectations were clear and concise. Communication with owner was wonderful. Overall it was a wonderful experience. Will try and book again when I visit thr area in the future!

The cottage was lovely! Perfect location in downtown Bayfield. Perfect accommodations - it had everything we needed. Very clean, easy to find, and easy to check in.

The facility was very good. Our visit to Bayfield was to attend a wedding so almost all of our use of the facility was to sleep and visit. The very nice kitchen was not used to prepare meals. Will consider using the facility in the future, VERY convenient.

Easy check in

We had a great stay at the cottage in Bayfield. We lucked out with parking, and the house was cool, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us, and the cottage was clean. Overall it was a great stay!

Lovely home. My dog enjoyed the backyard immensely. The location was primo for my day trips to the Four Corners and Mesa Verde. Also a great launch up to Durango and Silverton. I was extremely happy with how quiet the master was. The antiques were cute and the transom windows were pretty. Would definitely stay again or recommend.

We loved this house so much. It was the best vrbo i have ever stayed in due to the amenities, thoughtfulness off the owner, and cleanliness.

So happy there is an affordable place for family and friends in Bayfield. Definitely recommend!

Convenient to family and activities

First impression of the property was amazing! The house was extremely clean and charming. There was also a perfect set up that included everything you could possibly do in the area. We also loved using the hot tub on our stay; it was a perfect way to end our trip. Definitely would recommend!

The cottage and town location exceeded all expectations. Tasteful interior with a cozy feel. Very close to a neat coffeeshop and brewery. Easy checkin and checkout.

Our family enjoyed this home. It was in a great location with restaurants nearby, and easy access to everywhere we needed to go. It was the cleanest home we have ever rented! We would definitely try to book this home if we take another trip to this area.

Staying at this precious cottage in a fun, safe little tinker town was just an extra treat to visiting the Polar Express train ride. It was very cozy and we loved the hot tub. There was plenty of space for us all. Very accommodating hosts. Highly recommend.

Cute house, cute neighborhood. However nearly all the furnishings had been changed from what is photographed. There was only a regular sofa and on chair in the living room, so we couldn't all sit down together. Trundle bed in sunroom has been replaced with full size day bed, so we had to buy an air mattress for one of our teens. Beautiful sleigh bed has been replaced with cheap Hollywood frame in primary room, not a big deal but big toe stubbing hazard in the dark. One large mixing bowl would have been nice for a party of seven. Most of us showered in the primary because chandelier in the bathtub is a hazard for tall people. Enjoyed the deer walking through the yard and the neighborhood park.

This was our second time staying at this cottage. We just love it. We are from Bayfield and it is so awesome to stay on Mill Street. We will be using this cottage again when we visit next time.

The Cottage is lovely and very clean. We loved walking over to Blue Sky Cafe for breakfast.

The Cottage on Mill Street was the perfect place for our fall trip to the Durango area. The cottage is in a small town outside of Durango, away from the crowds. It was peaceful with a nice assortment of restaurants. The cottage was spacious and well stocked. If your coming to this area, this odds the place to stay.

Everything was as described. Beds very comfortable. Very cute and plenty space for 2 couples.

Clean, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Only one drawback was that one bathroom didn’t have a shower.

Loved staying in this charming home in Bayfield. We were 2 adults and 2 teens, and there was plenty of space to spread out. Clawfoot tub was lovely! Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of charm throughout the house. Immaculate and comfortable. Walking to restaurants in Bayfield was fun, and Durango is only a short drive away. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Home embodied an attention- to-detail refurbished older home. New windows, clawfoot tub, lovely sunroom. Situated perfectly with access to all downtown Bayfield. My old stomping grounds.

We only stayed 2 nights and it was the most comfortable stay on our CO road trip. Cute little cottage on a main street, quiet neighborhood but also easy walk to great local restaurants. Great linens, comfy beds, easy and clean kitchen and baths. Very comfortable.

Centrally located for Southern Colorado fun with special perks of quaint restaurants in a quaint old town full of nice people with dogs. The home was relaxing & was equipped with all our needs. Property mgr & owner attentive to our needs.

We were extremely happy with our stay. The home was spacious, clean, and in the perfect spot to take in the quaint town. The accommodations and amenities were spot on. I will highly recommend this home.
