I chose this place because it looked very isolated and convenient to Crater Lake. Then I got worried because I did not get good directions to it, and saw pictures showing a trailer, and barn right next to it. Once we got there, and in, it was great! Very spacious, full of kitchen supplies, A/C, and comfortable furniture. There is a neighbor we met, and he was very quiet and nice.

This property was delightful! It was a comfortable home away from home while we visited Crater Lake and the surrounding countryside. It was well stocked. The location was so peaceful; we enjoyed spending time on the covered patio, watching the birds and listening to the cattle. And the host was very responsive.

If you like quiet country living this is for you! A couple suggestions that would improve the guest experience: 1. An adjustable shower head, preferably hand held. The current one has NO way to be adjusted. Hit me in the face! 2. Get normal TV. Personally, I hate ROKU. With the prices asked for VRBOs, cable or dish TV ought to be provided. 3. Get new pillows and sheets for the twin beds. Pillows are flat and sheets on one bed felt like fine sandpaper. The owner was very responsive with communications. And the property is conveniently located to Crater Lake Nat'l Park which was important to us.

MaryAnna was very communicative and made the check-in and check-out process easy. She provided helpful information and suggestions about the area and things to visit. We especially enjoyed the quiet location on the ranch for the starry skies, watching the sunset over the Cascades and the close proximity to Crater Lake. Thank you!

Wonderful spot— so many little things that made it nicer— pretty dishes, comfy warm bedding, spotlessly clean and as close as you can get to Crater Lake. Loved the place— super comfy and the TV let me plug in my own subscriptions. Recommend VERY highly.

This little house was the perfect place to stay, while enjoying Crater Lake. Mary Anna, answered text promptly and was very accommodating. The house was stocked with everything needed. I would stay here again.

Nice property close to crater lake. Quiet only suggestion would be property needs to be cleaned.

Proximity to Crater Lake National Park was great. Some neighboring properties looked in disrepair and/or abandoned? Great views from front and back; enjoyed seeing the sun come up through the kitchen window. It was peaceful. Cozy but could use some freshening and should have been cleaner (especially the floors); the shower is kind of tight/small.

Beautiful property! The house was just as described. Closest restaurant (20 min) is at Crater Lake all of the other restaurants are at least 30 min away but the house has a great kitchen. We loved being close to Crater Lake but not in the heart of it. Loved the country feel. Would definitely stay here again!

All you need close to Crater Lake. Not many dining options nearby so provision up before arriving.

My husband and I spent 4 lovely days at the Cascade Mountain-View Retreat. It was an easy drive to visit the many activities at Crater Lake - and a relaxing and cozy retreat to relax in the evenings. The retreat had everything we needed to prepare a few meals at home - olive oil, spices, coffee, tea and a pantry with numerous basic supplies. The host, Mary Anna, thought of everything a guest might need - cold water bottles in the refrigerator, extra towels, bath supplies, a variety of pillows to select from, and local event brochures. We had one brief internet outage which Mary Anna and her Son quickly responded to. I highly recommend you visit this retreat with so many amenities and a great location to visit Crater Lake!
