Delightful cottage to spend 2 nights while visiting Crater Lake. A TV would have been nice, though.

We had a great stay. The cabin was exactly as expected. The decor was adorable and we were very comfortable. We really enjoyed watching the horses and cattle on the nearby farms after exploring the parks. For anyone traveling to the area for Crater Lake, definitely do not skip the waterfalls in Umpqua National Forest. We had the best day trying to hit all 11 (spoiler alert, we only saw 7). Such a great place! We would definitely recommend to others.

We were traveling to Crater Lake and spent the night here after our one day visit. Cabin is about 40 min south of the lodge in the park and easy to find. The cabin is very nicely furnished with good indoor and outdoor seating options, the main bed was comfortable with nice linens. We had what we needed for cooking. It is quiet and the star gazing is incredible. It’s also a good area for birding. We planned ahead and brought what we needed for dinner and breakfast as we were warned that grocery options near the cabin are very limited. Hopefully the owner will add more ice trays as I was really looking forward to putting my beverages on ice.We were headed to Portland after our visit which meant a drive back through the park but we took advantage of the Waterfall Highway (138?) to visit 4 waterfalls and made it to Portland by early evening.

We had a lovely stay at the Ranch Cabin. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out and nicely appointed. It’s a peaceful spot and we enjoyed watching the cows and horses. The cabin is convenient to Crater Lake - just a 30 minute drive to the south rim. Be sure to bring groceries with you as the cabin is remote.

Exceptional place, exceptional cabin, and exceptional moments! One of the best experiences of our lives. Crater Lake, Umpqua Hot Springs and National Forest, Klamath Falls and hiking trails all around. Zipping and paddleboarding during the week. Couldn’t ask for more of a perfect place to, launch from and come home to, at the end of a spectacular day!

What an adorable cabin in the countryside. It was clean, the beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The sunsets were beautiful and the stargazing was amazing. It was also close to Crater Lake which was so convenient. Overall it was a relaxing experience that I would gladly book again.
