Thatcher's Mill House On The Ridge and Four Legged Friendly!

Great little spot. Close to all things Chattanooga!

We will stay here over and over. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. Tammy was so kind and welcoming. She was quick to respond to every message. We had a great trip.

The pictures do not do this cottage justice. Everything was super clean and cute as could be. We would definitely stay again or any other property by the same owner. Worth every penny. Tammy response was quick. The cottage was stocked with everything you could think of. She also provided coffee and some snacks that my husband enjoyed in the middle of the night. We feel blessed to have found this little gem.

EVERYTHING stood out! We drove up to the cutest little “dollhouse” we’d ever seen with our host coming down the street to greet us. Tammy was so very welcoming and made us feel instantly comfortable. We travel a lot but I have never seen a more completely furnished Vrbo. We had brought coffee, creamer, etc…but we never had to unpack ours as Tammy had graciously provided a carousel of Keurig pods. There was also a conventional coffee pot to use (with coffee provided). I could go on and on, but bottom line is we will definitely be back and we’ll be recommending the Thatcher Mill House to other travelers. We loved it so much we extended our stay one more nite. Thanks again, Tammy, for a wonderful visit!

Everything we hoped for and more.

The host, Tammy, was so pleasant. The house is adorable: very modern. The bathroom is fabulous! The quiet street was perfect. I felt comfortable knowing the host lived on the street, and the location was perfect to easily get to downtown Chattanooga. It's very close to main street which has a lot of places to eat. The host even left is goodies as a chocolate snack on the kitchen counter. Thank you! We will dedicated stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay and really enjoyed it. Good location to get wherever you to go in Chattanooga! Perfect for the 2 of us and our little dog. We will be back!

The entire place was perfectly decorated for Christmas, and it had all the amenities one could ask for!

Lovely home decorated for the holidays! Short drive to downtown and many restaurants. Hope to go back soon. Host is very welcoming with both a keurig and coffee maker with coffee available.

A wonder place to stay while in town! We even got a chance to meet the host and she was phenomenal. Very welcoming and friendly!

Property was very clean. Great for our dogs with nice area to take them out. House isn't huge but big enough for couples or families with smaller children. Tammy (host) was nice to work with, did not ask for too much and very easy going.

We were in town for Ironman chatty and stayed at Tammy’s property . Several of the neighboring houses must’ve been rentals as well, because we had 2-3 houses next to us with athletes as well. Great location! The house is very cozy and very well appointed with essentials and all the comforts of home . Very clean ! Tammy is a great host

Clean clean clean. Stunning cottage. Just right for me and hubby for a 4 night stay. “Landlord” very helpful, friendly and talented…an artist and master gardener. Enjoyed the garden tour at the main house. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Adorable house and very clean. Bed was comfortable and hostess was very nice. The location of the house was quiet. The area is in a revitalize neighborhood which is coming along. I would definitely stay here again.

We spent a week at Thatcher Mill House and thoroughly enjoyed it. The house is very cozy and has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Tammy Hass, our host, was very friendly, and the Thatcher Mill house was just as lovely as she was. She certainly thought of everything to make our stay at the house pleasant. If you get a chance, take a walk in her garden across the road from the property behind her house. We enjoyed the garden and the city view. You can see the old Standard-Coosa Thatcher Mill property, which is currently being redeveloped for housing and retail. Chattanooga, Tennessee, is a vibrant city with a wealth of activities to enjoy. I loved Ruby Falls, Rock City, the zoo, and the aquarium; all were incredible. We had so much fun. Thanks, Tammy, for providing such a wonderful home for the week we were visiting there. It was so nice.

The atmosphere was like home, very cozy. When I got home, I said to myself I didn't even miss home. How sad is that? We made the time we had count. I did however have a hard time with the TV. I am not tech savvy. I would love to send pictures, but I don't know how. I would suggest that you put Pukett's on your recommendations for a place to eat. I really had the time of my life. Thanks for everything.

The Thatcher house was charming and perfect for our family! It had everything you would find in your own home. Tammy was an exceptional host - friendly and quick to respond to any questions.

The house was so cute! We enjoyed our stay, my husband, myself and our fur baby. I thought the yard was fenced but it wasn't. When we arrived we got to meet Ms. Tammy. Very sweet lady! She allowed us to use the yard next door for our fur baby until her guest arrived. I really appreciated that! The house had everything we needed.

Central location to EVERYTHING. We really enjoyed our recent stay and exploring all chattanooga had to offer. House was cute and Tammy is the sweetest! Thank you for having us!

I spent a month in this cute mill house and grew very attached to it. As we had stayed there before for a few days, I knew it would be good and would have what I needed, and it sure did. I enjoyed meeting Tammy this time and communicating with her during my stay. She was very helpful and I even got a tour of her amazing master garden. This place is very clean, well stocked, nicely set up and able to accommodate dinner guests. There’s no question this will be my preferred place to stay during my/our visits to Chattanooga!

Had a death in family and tried to cancel, but she would not so therefore we could not come did not receive an ounce of sympathy had only reserve the place six days prior. She stated she had a two week notice if you could not come. We had not booked it six days prior, so it was not good.

Convenient to the up and coming Southside, this home is cozy and comfy!!!

Perfect size for a couple. Much nicer than a hotel room and at a lower cost. It was nice that we could bring our dog with us.

Clean and nicely set up with all the essentials—very welcoming even including Christmas decorations! This VRBO had all we needed to enjoy our short stay but we hope to come back again! This place is incredible! It was my wife and I‘s first time getting to take the little one to the aquarium and all things Chattanooga and we could not have picked a better place to stay. The interior of this place is modern and up-to-date and is perfect for our size family and honestly would’ve worked even if we had another kiddo with us. It really feels like you’re able to come back to a house as opposed to just a hotel. We cooked here and were able to spend time at night winding down here. This place was exceptionally clean and Tammy was very responsive to all messages and very friendly when I got to speak with her. Do yourself a favor and book here if you’re even remotely considering it! My wife and I have stayed in five or six different vacation rentals in Chattanooga over the years and this one was hands-down the best experience we have had. My only hesitation in leaving this review is it’s going to add to this place as stellar reputation and may make it harder to book the next time we’re down there lol

Nice place

This is by far the best experience with a vacation rental i have ever had. I wish Tammy had places all over the world. The house was perfect. Decor , well she can come and help me decorate my home any dsy. Location close and convenient to all the places we wanted to ho. I would give this home a 20 + if the scale went that high.

We absolutely loved staying in this little gem! It had great access to everything we wanted to see/do while in Chattanooga. Tammy let us know there was more space for our furry family member to run, but she seemed content with the yard at the house!

This small mill house has been redone with excellent choices in decor. The space is well used and there is plenty of room for two. The only negative thing I have to say is the parking. It's on street and inconvenient. Excellent communication with host.
