Taste Of Wine On The Chattahoochee River - with Hot Tub - Downtown Helen.

This was the best rental stay we have had. Has everything you need. Beautiful area. Loved the hot tub and being near the river. Very relaxing! Would love to stay again sometime.

If you are looking for a nice, clean and safe place to stay in Helen, GA this is the spot. Everything was spotless and all the appliances were in excellent conditions. There was no need to reach the host other than to say thanks upon departure. We are going back next year.

The owners thought of everything and were very responsive.

I liked the location. Everything was right there. What I didn’t like was the sheets & face cloths and towels was to dingy. After I went and bought my own sheets & towels I was good. Other then that it was perfect.

Did not get in the hot tub. I think the kitchen cookware could be updated, but the rest of the kitchen was fine. Couch was comfortable, and I liked the back porch with the fire pit table.

The fireplace in the living room was not in working order. Everything else seemed fine :)

The condo was clean and very convenient to everything! I had a couple of questions and the host was very quick to respond. Would definitely go back!

Good location, right on the river and walkable to downtown. Easy to access and park underneath the townhouse. Couldn’t hear neighbors so walls not too thin. Fireplace wasn’t in working order at the time if that’s something you are set on. Hot tub was nice and relaxing. Would stay here again.

The cabin is clean, comfortable, & nicely situated along the river, but our stay was overshadowed by an unusable hot tub - the main reason we booked the unit. Despite prompt troubleshooting & communication with the owner, the hot tub remained unusable for most of our stay, and the owner’s response & handling of the situation were disappointing.We stayed over Halloween weekend that included a winery, hiking, exploring Helen, and relaxing in the hot tub. When we returned from our hike Saturday 3 pm, the water was 56F and the unit had no power. I discovered the fuse in the circuit breaker had been inserted upside down, preventing power to the tub. Once corrected, it powered on immediately. I called the owner at 3:08 pm; he apologized and said it might take 4–6 hours to heat. It finally reached 100F after 10 pm, making it unusable during the day.Before bed I found the power and jet buttons did not work, causing the jets to run continuously. I shut off the circuit to prevent damage and informed the owner before checkout. I requested a 20% refund (low end of typical 20–35% credits for unavailable KEY amenities). The owner offered 75 and implied we should have checked earlier, though the issue stemmed from the upside-down fuse which is clear evidence the cleaner did not properly prep the hot tub for our visit. I declined, as he disappointedly placed responsibility on us rather than the cleaner or setup error. Lovely cabin, but poor accountability will keep us from returning.

The home was comfortable and nicely decorated. We enjoyed the fire pit table. Nice 15 minute walk to Fest Halle.

Room clean, lots of steps and not easy to find even with GPS (dark snd pouring rain). Hour after artiving, power off until next morning at 6:00 AM. Everything good after that.

Close to downtown and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine.

Clean condo conveniently located a short walk (15 minutes) from the heart of Helen. Communication with host was excellent.

Awesome location, right on the river and less than a mile walk to the heart of Helen. If you like tubing, it is right next to the tubing company. The house is beautiful and furnishings match the wine theme. It was great to sit on the back deck and listen to the river at night. We had one, minor issue when we arrived and the owner was very responsive and got it fixed quickly. I hope to stay here again soon.

Nice and cozy, clean and close to the center of Helen. Easy walking distance if you're in shape. If not, like us, then it's a quick drive to wherever you want to go!

Perfect little place to relax but close enough to walk to downtown. It’s directly next to the get out for the Helen tubing which is very convenient!

Everything about our stay was great! The complimentary bottle of wine was a very nice touch. We will definitely stay there again and recommended this place to others. Thank you so much for the memories made.

The townhouse was spotless and had a wonderful view of the river while also being in a pretty good location!

Wonderful stay! Loved location, view and decor.

The overall stay was great. Lovely location, right on the water, close to town. Walked almost everywhere we went. The downstairs was great for 4 people. The kitchen was well stocked, porch was awesome to sit out on and have breakfast. The ONLY little negatives in my opinion was the bed/bedding was well worn (time to update), the guest bathroom toilet handle was broken and you had to pull the chain in the tank to flush the toilet, and the towel rack in the guest bathroom appears to have been broken by a prior guest as it was just placed on the wall, so it fell every time you tried to put it back. But these are easy fixes and we would totally stay here again.

We definitely enjoyed our stay! The place was nice and very clean. My son enjoyed feeding the geese right off the back porch. I caught several trout in the river right behind our town house. My wife enjoyed being able to walk right into town to shop and have dinner. Our host Dave was very accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We keep coming back to this property because its honestly the best location in Helen. There was a small hiccup upon check-in, but david did an amazing job getting handled within minutes. It will continue to be our go to location for Helen vacations!

We had a great time!! The house was so close to town that we could have walked if we felt like it. The house was amazing for relaxing in the hot tub after a day of exploring. I reached out to Dave with a couple of questions and he was very fast to respond and make sure we were taken care of. We definitely see ourselves coming back in warmer weather!!

The townhome is in a quiet section of town, and is about a 15 min walk from city center. Very cute Christmas decorations were up inside. Deck with fire pit was a nice place for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Beds are very comfortable. The only issues we had were the hot tub was a little cloudy when arrived and the carpets upstairs could use a good shampooing. My socks were dirty after walking around on them. I contacted the owner about the hot tub and he assured me it had been emptied after the prior guests, but I wonder if it had been wiped out as well? He said he would send the cleaner over to look at it, but no one ever showed up. The owner was always very prompt answering when I messaged. If you want a really nice meal, make a reservation at Valhalla Resort! We went there for our anniversary dinner and it was AMAZING!

Great layout of the property, really feels like 1 2nd home immediately. Awesome location overseeing the river and close proximity to everything. Owners are quick to respond. Highly recommend, will use them again for my next trip.

The owners were so kind. The beds were comfy, the hot tub was perfect, enjoyed sitting around the fire pit listening to the stream. Never turned the tv on! Too much to do. Great vacation!

This townhouse was exactly what we were looking for when we came for Oktoberfest! The location is within perfect walking distance to the main strip and the Festhalle so we never had to drive! It’s also within 20 minutes of some of the most beautiful wineries. We loved the cleanliness and all of the amenities. Everything was just wonderful. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed everything about this location. It was easy walk town. Super Comfortable accommodations. Check in was a breeze. It has a beautiful river side double balcony.Tons of things nearby to do with your children. We will definitely be returning.

Was good for our needs. A lot of stairs for elderly or those with limited mobility. Appreciated the number of bathrooms. Was walkable to town for those with good mobility. Host very responsive. Nice back patio.

Hosts were excellent and we really enjoyed Helen. While we were there for the Oktoberfest celebrations, we'd like to make another trip for tubing! Private parking and quiet area were very pleasant. Thank you!

Condo was great.

Clean as a pin --Well decorated - well stocked --comfy bed ---the deck is covered and the furniture is nice and clean as well ---the only thing I would add is if you cant do stairs --you do have to walk up the stairs to get in the condo and the bedrooms are upstairs as well --but everything is super nice once you are in the unit --every detail covered and a free bottle of wine too !

The Taste of Wine was perfect for our family visit to Helen! We walked to town several times, enjoyed the hot tub, and LOVED the accommodations! Thank you for a GREAT stay!

Wonderful spot for a getaway. Property pictures and descriptions were accurate as was the home being very well maintained. The grill is pretty basic and easy to use for novices. The hot tub was spacious and nice to soak in and enjoy the jets after a day of tubing. I’d like to come back for Oktoberfest or the fall/winter holidays.
