Tall Pines Private, Rustic, Lakeside Cottage

Laundry onsite was nice, location was peaceful, it was a little difficult to find accurate online directions, host was great to work with.

This was a wonderful getaway with my husband. Very quiet. We enjoyed the lake with the kayaks and canoe that was included with our stay! it added so much to our trip, we are so grateful that they offer them to their guests. We would love to come back sometime.

House was exactly as depicted. Location was further from Pictured Rocks than I would choose next time, but that’s our own fault (not knowing the area). Although the house was clean, I saw a little mouse scoot behind the washing machine. It’s a rural area so no great surprise and family wasn’t bothered by it, but some traps or checking for holes might be a good idea. We put all food including dry goods in the fridge after seeing it. Communication was excellent and accurate. Sunset from the deck was lovely. No outdoor bug issues in mid/late August this year, but we came prepared for that.

We had an excellent time. Facility was clean. We ended up spending majority of our time here as our kids lived the water. We fished a bunch also. We will be back.

Check in was easy once we found the house! Internet non existent & forgot to write down hosts names to look for on the property!!

We are out of doors people and LOVED the deck, pier, being on the lake, canoeing, and campfires. It was soooooo quiet there. It was beautiful. The cabin was quaint and rustic. Sufficient for our needs. It was a little further from Munising than anticipated but it was a beautiful drive and that’s why it was soooo quiet and peaceful. It was a great retreat. Thank you

Lovely rustic cabin on lake. Tall Pines is nestled in the woods and offers privacy and all basic amenities. If you're seeking some fishing, boating and nature, it's the perfect spot.

It was a welcome rustic and beautiful home on Stoner Lake front. Excellent Family time both in the cabin and on the lake. Throughly restful and good time. Many memories were made .....

Nice cabin on the lake. Very quiet and pretty secluded. Kayaks and boat to use. Caught plenty of fish right off the dock.

My family and I enjoyed our little getaway on the lake. The girls loved the swim mat and spent hours playing. We jammed a lot of activities in our four day stay and we really enjoyed the cabin. Communication with host was very quick as well!

Our stay last week was amazing! The location was beautiful and peaceful. Communication was quick and friendly and we had everything we needed plus some. Everything was very clean and organized. Although we did a few day trips, we enjoyed spending time at the cabin fishing and relaxing the most. We will definitely book again!

Property was clean and supplied. It is close to Munising and General Store is about 6 or 7 miles nearby. They have the best tasting ice cream we have ever had and so friendly! Tom and Britta are wonderful hosts. They are close by but respected our privacy and communicated promptly every time. Tall Pines cottage has a wonderful view and peaceful atmosphere, I highly recommend a stay here. Our family has cherished memories from this trip

Beautiful location. Peaceful, comfortable beds, super cute, and close to the General Store if you need basics or just snacks. Great communication with the owners is needed (we asked for directions).If we ever visit Michigan again we would love to stay there again

A wonderful cabin, with a peaceful lake and woods surrounding. So many things to do. A great place!

The cabin was everything we hoped; just secluded enough, clean, well stocked, comfortable and everthing was in working order. We especially enjoyed the deck and fishing off the dock. Host was responsive and friendly. We loved every minute of our stay.

We loved staying at this cozy cabin! The hosts had many amenities available for us to use and kept the place well stocked. We loved using the fishing boat and kayaks but there were also canoes for use. The hammock and deck were great places to rest and relax outside! They had wood on the property for us to use (for a small fee) which made having a bon fire easy and convenient. The bugs were not bad during our stay but I did see they had a screened in tent for use also in the sauna room, they really thought of it all!

Cozy and clean! Enjoyed the dock and deck on the water. Hit the rocks, falls, and kitchi spring, loved it.

While we did not have the best weather as it rained a good portion of the time we stayed, this was the perfect place for it. It was so relaxing and beautiful that we were able to sit in the chairs by the window and read or sit at the table and play games while enjoying the beauty of the rain and fog over the lake. My son loved the loft area and hanging out there, like his own little getaway. It was quiet and away from everything, yet the General Store with the friendliest staff was just 15 minutes away. The sauna house was a fun little adventure that provided entertainment of warmth followed by a little olunge into the lake in the rain - a fun experience us city folk don’t have often :) if you’re looking for a quiet, cozy little escape, this is a fantastic option!

We wanted a quick getaway and this was the perfect place. It was quiet and clean and stocked with everything we needed. We are already excited to return!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was excellent, quiet, peaceful, etc. The property manager was responsive to all questions I had and the WiFi worked great!

Smooth check in and a perfect cabin on a perfect property. The place is well cared for, and we loved having access to all the things that allowed us to enjoy the lake. Already dreaming of our return!
