Bear Den Log Cabin

Highly recommended! We had a wonderful stay in this cabin. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of space for our family, and it was so clean and well kept. It is obvious that a lot of care is put into maintaining this cabin. We loved the location and the quiet wooded setting. We would return here and stay every summer if we could!

The Cabin is Awesome, Clean and cozy. We had everything we needed plus some! Neighbors were very friendly the waterfalls were minutes to hours away. Definently will be returning. My kids did not want to return to the city Life!

I saw that this Lake Tahoe Resort cabin looked wonderful, but it was better than the photos. Updated, tastefully decorated, and comfortable furnishings. Front porch and back. The fantastic kitchen inspired us to do some cooking, and there was every pot, utensil, plate and mixing bowl we'd have at home, plus.

Great place to stay, nicely decorated cabin. Melodie was very nice and helpful. We will be back next year!

This cabin was perfect for our family. It was in a perfect location. It was clean, had all the things we needed to cook to meals, and Melodie is a very nice host. We would stay there again!

Loved this property! My husband and I stayed here to elope by the falls. Was expecting it to be a bit more private but It was clean cozy and friendly. We loved being able to bring our dogs as well. The property manager is super friendly and helpful if you need anything. It’s truly accommodating and a great location for lots of exploration in the UP. highly suggest this place!

We loved our stay!! The cabin was spotless & beautifully decorated with everything we needed. It’s located in the Hiawatha National Forest with many beautiful trails & small lakes nearby. The setting is very peaceful & private although there are some other cabins close by. It’s about 25 minutes to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore & 20 minutes to the town of Munising where there were boat tours & restaurants. Our host was wonderful! We will definitely go back!

I can not say enough about this cabin. Clean, cozy, comfortable, great lay out, and close to everything, but still felt like you were out away from it all. Manager was great and friendly. My wife and I will be back again.

My family really enjoyed our stay at this very cozy and clean cabin. It exceeded our expectations and was much larger than it appeared from the photos. Everything seemed very new and of high quality. The shower was great and we appreciated the heater in the bathroom. It was a great space to enjoy a chilly, rainy afternoon on one of our days there. The property manager was very quick and responsive to answer a few questions we had. It was a very easy 15 minute or so drive to Munising and easy access to hiking. We very much recommend this cabin and would love to return.

The cabin and amenities were as described. It was easy to get to. It was very clean and welcoming. We had plenty of towels for the 4 of us. It was nice having the pans to cook on and the grill to cook on.

Great location. We had a great time. The cabin was wonderful. The property was great for exploring. Archer our Siberian Husky, loved running and exploring while we snowshoed. Absolutely beautiful outside! Thank you!

This was the perfect stay for an autumn getaway. Earlier this year, our family had a not so great experience with an out of country apartment we booked which left us a little nervous to book one in the future. But our nerves quickly subsided as the host communicated well and was super nice and friendly when we had an issue during our stay. As a national park lover, it was a big plus that this cabin was only 20 minutes from Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. Would stay here again if we’re ever back in the UP!

The managers were very quick to respond and assist in anything we asked. The cabin exceeds the listing in every way except maybe for one. The cabin isnt as remote as we thought. Overall, an absolute wonderful place to stay!

This is our second time staying Bear Den Log Cabin and it was just as nice the second time. The cabin is decorated very cute and is cozy. Very close to Munising and Hiawatha National Park. The communication was excellent and the host is very accommodating. We will definitely stay again another time!

A beautiful little cabin with all the nice to haves- close to pictured rocks and right in the heart of the national forest. Perfect spot for home base for hiking and other outdoor fun. We loved sitting on the porches and enjoying the fire pit, would absolutely return!

Nice place with rustic decor. Quiet location. Great location for visiting the UP and Pictured Rocks.

Quiet and secluded

Excellent rental. Very clean. Close to Painted Rocks. Easy check in and checkout. No A/C but all the fans made it bearable. Will return again.

This cabin is perfect for a getaway. There is plenty of space, is comfortable, and there is lots to do nearby. The hosts were very gracious as well.

We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabin. Remote “in the woods” feel without being too isolated due to 2 other rentals and manager nearby. Just the right distance from Munising for us. We did the Pictured Rocks sunset cruise and really liked the beach near the Park Ranger Headquarters. Also enjoyed a day in Marquette with a great beach near the lighthouse. Cabin had everything we needed.

Gorgeous property about 15 min drive to Lake Superior. Would not change a thing. Next time we hope to walk the grounds more.

Our family stayed here while exploring the Pictured Rocks area and we loved it! The location was perfect-close to downtown Munising, but peaceful and tucked away from the busyness. The cabin was very clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. Host was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely come back again!

Cute & cozy cabin with room to roam amongst the 13 acres. Immaculate inside and out. Host was very accommodating. Highly recommend!
