The property is nestled away from the road but also conveniently located to grocery, restaurants, etc. The location is ideal for visiting the many beautiful sites within a couple hours drive. The weather didn’t cooperate so we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit or the beautiful outdoor area - hopefully next trip!

The home has gorgeous woods views and is quite convenient to all the UP has to offer. Our 3-generation family all enjoyed it very much.

Property was as described. Little tricky to find in the dark but directions were accurate. Rode side by sides right from property and area was great. Also did pictured rocks which was only 20 minutes. Would recommend staying here

The Hiawatha Hideaway was a hidden gem. The property was clean, well maintained, and well managed. It was a little hard to find at first because of internet issues (not the fault of the owners) but the owners did everything they could to help us navigate. Location was nice: close to Munising and Pictured Rocks, where we spent most of our time, and Hiawatha National Forest, where our (adult) kids were camping. The upper floor, though not as roomy as it appeared in the photos, was nicely refinished and modern. The basement was even more impressive, with a walk-in shower and spacious entertainment room for lounging. The back yard, though not completely private, felt like we were camping. Floodlights were nice for security, but made star-gazing a little tricky! The hosts were very attentive and quick to communicate with us about any issues or questions.

It was a nice country location for exploring many back roads in Hiawatha National Park.

Feels secluded but isn't. 15 minutes to town (10 if you drive like me) If you like fires get your wood from the host. She left us a generous pile. Try the Baldy Shores Kayaking on the Indian River. Couple decent golf courses close by. Lake Superior & Pictured Rocks Nat'l Shoreline are also easy drives. Hiking opportunities everywhere. Hosts are great. We had a couple very minor no big deal problems we let them know about - they took care of it even though it could've waited. And yes once you're off WiFi GPS goes to sh*t.
