Stayed Mar 19, 2026This space was wonderfully decorated and perfectly secluded. We disconnected to reconnect--played board games, stargazed, played at the small pond, cooked all our meals, and hung out on the front porch. The host dropped a lasagna pan and gave us latitude on check-in. Plenty of room for my family of four to chill out. While in town we recommend biking on the Katy, splashing in the Devil's Ice Box, hiking the Pinnacles, and eating Sparky's Ice Cream.

Stayed Feb 26, 2026This house was exactly what we were looking for. So quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the deck at night watching the stars. It is place the perfect place to unplug and relax. The hosts were very accommodating and let us check-in early. They live on the property so you feel safe yet they are far enough away that you still have privacy.

Stayed May 15, 2025We were not able to use this property as we had a mix-up with the VRBO platform but I am sure it would have been amazing! The host was so helpful and thoughtful with our situation that I can only imagine if we were able to stay, the home would have been equally as as welcoming! Highly recommend.

Stayed Dec 6, 2024A nice spot for a weekend getaway. The location is perfect. It's very private yet it's only a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Columbia.

Stayed Nov 29, 2024Our son is at Mizzou and we followed him back to Columbia after Thanksgiving on Friday and spent two days in this fabulous, quiet, cozy farmhouse, while it snowed. It was just perfect. Wish we had more time! The hosts were communicative and incredibly helpful.

Stayed Nov 8, 2024We used the cottage for the weekend to go to the mizzou football game. It is a little bit of a trip in, but was perfect for getting away from the crowd. Plenty of space and the outdoor area was a plus

Stayed Sep 13, 2024We had a great time here for the second year in a row for family weekend. It is a little off the beaten path, but close enough to easily get to campus. The host is easy to work with.
