Close to beach and great house for our family gathering!

We stayed here for a bachelorette getaway and could not be happier with the space, proximity to the beach, and all the amenities provided in the kitchen. We absolutely loved that each room had their own bathroom. The beach was merely a 3 minute walk away. It is a beautiful house and everyone at the vacation rental agency was so friendly. Would love to come back!!!

The WiFi and second living space were excellent for the remote work a couple of family members needed to do. One zoom call was done from a comfy deck couch - I think their colleagues were a bit jealous! The kitchen is well stocked with whatever you need, even a stepladder to reach the higher shelves! Access to the beach is an easy walk, especially with the wagon provided. The house is the cleanest rental we have ever enjoyed, despite some kitchen upholstery stains from previous tenants. The rooftop deck was amazing for watching the rare comet and stargazing! Bring some binoculars to see the Ravenel bridge. The one downside of the property is water intrusion and subsequent mold on the south facing windows. If you are very sensitive - this might not be the property for you until the homeowner has it remediated. East Island Rentals made communication very easy before and during our stay. I definitely recommend this property (with the disclaimer about mold allergens) and rental company to others!

Reviewer Comments: This home has a great reverse layout with a bathroom for each of the four bedrooms. The pool was convenient but on the smaller size. Elevator was helpful for older guests and bringing up luggage and groceries. The A/C was out for ~24 hours but the staff was helpful and attentive. Not a long walk to the beach and there was a wagon available for use that was helpful to carry coolers and chairs. The house overall had wear & tear that was not depicted in the pictures - very worn kitchen cabinets full of a lot of vases & unnecessary things & some drawers were hard to open, the cooktop exhaust fan was missing completely, two dining chairs broke because of wobbly legs & the couches were in need of a deep clean. One garage door did not work but could be lifted manually. The bunk bed had been reinforced but was still questionable, and one of the full beds was extremely loud with every movement & the lower king bedroom had basic ikea bed frame & daybed. We appreciated the number of towels and starting supplies available at the house. Overall a good week, but we wouldn’t stay at this property again.

Large house close to the beach with plenty of room for a big family.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself is better than pictured, spacious with room for a large group. Beds and lounge furniture were comfortable. While we weren't using the kitchen much there's a lot of visible wear, particularly with issues with drawers/cabinets not opening well. Additionally, the rug in the kitchen NEEDS a rubber mat underneath as it almost caused several falls. A large group staying a week would definitely benefit from a second refrigerator or beverage fridge somewhere in the house, however since we spent a lot of time out of the house it was perfectly fine for our group.

The walk to the beach was really close. The den was perfect for movie night. Some of the furniture in bedroom was worn and mattress not the most comfortable, but overall, it was a place we would definitely return.
