Great property in the peaceful, quiet country but just a few miles to town. Very relaxing to ‘come home to’ each night after visiting the ark and other attractions. Hosts were very kind; gave us our space and yet available if needed. Lots of activities at the home; including painting rocks, swimming pool, games, toys, puzzles, hammocks, corn hole, s’mores basket, fire pit and more. I would note the short road to the property is one lane but is a dead end so not much traffic.

This is a well kept property that is so inviting. There is a fire pit and s’mores supplies, a pool that’s clean and cool. So inviting. The owners are very nice and respected our privacy. I would go back here. Even the beds were comfortable!

Was a very nice clean and comfortable. Enjoyed it very much. Poperty is beautiful. Love the swing in backyard. Just sit out there and enjoy the peace and quite. Donnie and Martha great people got to spend alittle time with them. Wish it could have been more. Will definitely return in fall lord willing.

Loved the quiet country lane and the view as we took an evening walk. The accommodations were homey and clean, with all we needed plus extras provided! Our hosts were on-site but out of sight. They were friendly and welcomed us then left us alone. We visited the Ark Encounter close by and enjoyed coming home to this place.

If you’re looking for a place to relax, grill, and enjoy a cozy fire, this is it. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, and it felt like a place where everyone can unwind. We took two Grandkids age 10 and 6, they loved the pool and plenty of room for them to run and play outside. House is small but all we needed. Nice short drive to The Ark Encounter. Excellent hosts, very friendly!

I went to this property for a 2 night stay for Independence Day with my 8-year old son. Martha and Donnie were the most kind and welcoming hosts and truly went above and beyond. They did everything they could to ensure our stay was everything we wanted. Donnie and took my son for a side by side ride and they invited us with them to watch some local fireworks which were great. We enjoyed the pool, outdoor toys, and games provided by Martha and Donnie. We cannot wait for our next stay!

If this place is available for the dates you need, BOOK IT!! You WONT be disappointed! When I rent a place, I get an idea mixed with the pictures and Sunset Serenity matched it perfectly! The owners were so sweet and wonderful. There was so much to do and the kids absolutely LOVED having their own pool. From the pool, to the swings, to the fireplace, to the rooms, Sunset Serenity had an activity for morning, afternoon and evening. I honestly wish we had more time to stay. If we ever get back to KY, Sunset Serenity WILL be our choice to stay. I will definitely let everyone at home know about this cute, cozy (AC was relaxing for summer) home away from home!

It was great. They was nice and very hospitable and everything was better than advertised.

The adults enjoyed the country setting; our son enjoyed the pool. While staying there, we visited The Creation Museum, and The Ark Encounter. The Ark Encounter is closer to this location. Bring your hotdogs and burgers, this place has a grill and fire pit.

Martha and Donnie were such wonderful hosts. Our 3 young kids felt so welcomed, we all did. Though the place shares a wall with the owners it felt so private. The pool in the back was the highlight for our girls and the beautiful spacious back yard. The indoor space was more than adequate for our family of 5 with comfortable beds and a well supplied kitchen that meet all our cooking needs.

We finally made the trip to Kentucky to see the Ark and the Creation Museum. We were so blessed to find this cute little VRBO. The owners were very welcoming and gracious. Our daughter enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the quiet. Tho this is in the country, it was close enough to Ark (10 minutes) and Creation Museum (45 mins). Also, several restaurants and stores.This little place had everything we needed for our quick getaway. We only wish we could have stayed a couple more days. Huge Thank You to D&M :) Hope to be back someday soon.

We came for a trip to the Ark! This stay did not disappoint! Hosts have a lot of hospitality! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area! We loved it here!

There were some misunderstandings with our stay and the owner was so kind and helped use resolve it quickly. Recommend!

My husband and I had a very nice stay. I guess I didn't realize it was connected to another home so the walls were a little thin but other than that it was fine. The hosts were very hospitable and even left us some Christmas treats. I enjoyed painting a rock to leave behind from our stay.

Cozy little place to enjoy the local venues and activities. Hosts friendly and accommodating, clear and all needed items available for use.
