Great little cottage out in the country. Perfect for what I was looking for. Close to the Ark Encounter and convenient to the Creation Museum.

Wonderful, private home! Great location for our visit to the Ark and Creation Museum. Host is very hospitable. We enjoyed the peacefulness and were able to catch some fireworks over the ridge. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend is site & we would love to stay again.

We had an amazing time at this Tiny home! Everything was so clean and well-equipped. The view from the cottage was fascinating and we enjoyed stargazing at night while enjoying marshmallows at the fire pit. The kids had a blast!! Everything was in great condition and we have no complaints at all (and I can be quite picky..). We made such unforgettable memories at the Swiss Hill Cottage and we hope to be back again! :)

What a beautiful, clean and tidy place. We just loved it. You can tell they put their heart into this place down to every little detail. Beautiful sunsets and views right from the front porch rocking chair. It was absolutely amazing. If your looking for a place for relaxation, serenity and peace, this is the place.

Beautiful landscapes, delicious Cinnamon rolls. Swiss hills cottage was the perfect place to rest after a day of adventure! Of course its a added plus that the Ark encounter was right around the corner!We had a great family game night as well! 1 more thing … beware of the bunnies!

This was the perfect quiet getaway for my husband and my minimoon. We were hand-delivered a wonderful and very yummy cinnamon roll Sunday morning before church. It was the best way to get up and get ready. I would highly recommend this Vrbo to anybody and I’m hoping that one day my husband and I can revisit for a long weekend. Thank you so much, Shelly! It was so serene and peaceful! It was honestly just so nice after busy days at The Ark Encounter and The Creation Museum. It was quiet, beautiful, and clean! We would highly recommend this place to anyone else looking for a comfortable place to rest and get away!

The tiny house was fabulous! Everything so clean, communication was wonderful. Accommodations were above and beyond anything ever expected. Location is ideal for Ark encounter and creation museum visit. Local grocery stores and restaurants near by. Highly recommended if I were to ever return I would definitely stay again.

Location of cottage well marked and easy to find. Great parking area. Relaxing and peaceful outdoor seating. Took a peaceful walk every evening. The cottage was so clean. It was decorated beautifully but still had a very relaxing, comfortable vibe. The host, Shelley, had thought of everything you would need. Shelley was great to communicate with! Oakley and his cinnamon rolls made our stay even more special! Would stay at the cottage again and would recommend to others.

We absolutely loved the cottage We appreciated the little extras like snacks, coffee but mostly the cleanliness and peace and quiet. Close to the Arc Encounter and About 45 minute ride from Creation Museum. We will definitely be returning.

Loved our stay at the Modern Farmhouse Cottage! It was everything we had hoped for. Shelley was very helpful when we needed guidance. A couple of suggestions for consideration: a small stand in the bathroom for toiletries and a softer mattress on the bed. We would definitely recommend this property though!

We loved the tiny house! I wish we could have sat on the swing outside by the fire but it was pouring. Still loved the place. Only 1 disappointment - the welcome said there was ice cream in the freezer (we love ice cream) but there wasn't any ice cream! Def/ would stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cottage on the farm! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated for Christmas inside and out, we felt at home immediately. The peaceful sunset view, fire-pit and swing made for a wonderful evening that we all enjoyed.— the perfect spot to relax.Our hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, we enjoyed homemade cinnamon buns that were truly delicious. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay extra special.Highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a clean, charming, and peaceful getaway.

Everything was great. The only complaint we have is the sleeping amenities. The pull out bed from the couch was not comfortable at all. You could feel the bar under the mattress even with a mattress topper. The main bed is very, very firm. Other than that it was awesome and would recommend anyone to stay.

Private with lots of birds

My boyfriend and I was impressed by how lovely everything turned out to be. Our favorite part was the quiet at night, as it has been our most relaxed stay yet. We enjoyed making a fire in the fire pit and making smores together. Seeing the farm animals was awesome. Just an overall very peaceful time, thank you!

This cozy cottage was great for our family. We were in the area visiting the Ark Encounter and this “tiny home” was packed full of everything we needed to have a lovely stay. I highly recommend this cottage over any hotel for a family with small children!

The moment we pulled up we were surprised at how beautiful the property and setting was. It is so quiet and serene. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. Some added perks were the popcorn and ice cream for us to enjoy. The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. We were able to enjoy the fire pit and swing, watching the beautiful sunset. It was one of our most enjoyable stays.

We had an amazing experience staying at the Swiss Hills Cottage with my wife and two boys. Shelley and her family provided everything we needed and went above and beyond to make us feel like we were at home. The cottage is in an excellent location and so close to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Plus, it’s on their beautiful farm which they take care of very well. Also, don’t forget to try some of Oakley’s famous cinnamon rolls! Hand delivered to your front door too. We’ll recommend this cottage to everyone and look forward to going back again.

This was such an amazing stay

This rental is perfect if you’re looking for a peaceful stay. The porch overlooks hills, there is a great view of the sunset, and cows are mooing in the background. The house itself is very clean and has everything you need. The host is excellent at communication and provides a list of things to do in the area and places to eat.

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The atmosphere is so cozy and it has to be the cleanest place we’ve have ever stayed at! We definitely recommend this cabin:)

My wife and I were greeted with a special Happy Anniversary message upon arrival at the cottage. This was a very sweet personal touch to make us feel welcome! All of the comforts of home were waiting for us in a relaxing location. The cottage was a wonderful get away. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed 4th of July weekend. We had a very peaceful and private stay. The country scenery was picturesque. The house had just enough room and was perfect for a older couple. We spent a lot of time on the porch just enjoying the sights and sounds of nature. We also got the benefit of watching fire works beyond the tree ridge. We spent the last night at a dinner cruise on the Ohio River cruising Cincinnati on one side and Kentucky on the other. The cinammon roles were delivered to our door from Shelleys 9 yr old son Oakley which were so good! A perfect 4th of July getaway.

The house was so clean, had everything we needed and the property was so peaceful and serene. A mother deer and her fawn even came out to say hi as I sat on the porch in the evening.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful, so quiet and peaceful sitting out on the porch or by the firepit. We enjoyed our time so much, perfect for a nice little get away for a couple or small family. The hosts son has a small side business making homemade cinnamon rolls, we ordered a couple and they were so delicious. A big thank you to the family for sharing their property with us.

I cannot say enough good things about this place! What a beautiful retreat to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet with the family. Wonderful views, gorgeous tiny cottage, super clean, and so many sweet calves roaming the field. Shelley, our Host was incredibly responsive and took care of everything to the tiniest of details. Oakley’s warm and gooey cinnamon rolls, that he personally hand delivered to our front door was the cherry on top! Loved everything about this place and hope to stay again in the future!

This of all the places I have ever stayed was my absolute favorite! Every detail was perfect, personable, and classy vintage. It had all the nostalgia I wanted to give my kiddos, and the host was so hospitable. The stay was so wonderful! I hope to go back and just sit in this cute little cottage - I came from a long ways away and I would do it again in a heart beat to stay here, the only thing I would change is more time just sitting and enjoying my time there (I had planned a lot of activities!) It was so perfect!

It not very often i meet someone that has a similar mindset to mine. This host thought of everything. I loved the fact that they had padding to use for the pullout bed. We all know sofa beds are not the most comfortable and they took this into consideration. Extra blankets and pillows- awesome. The whole set up this family is running is really amazing.
