Sunset Beach Retreat w/Pool - 8 mins to Beach

I have never had a better rental experience with VRBo or its competitors. The host was consistently available to help this old lady with an ancient cell phone navigate the new rental agreement and check in process. The house is immaculate and incredibly comfortable - reclining chairs to watch a huge tv. Refrigerator is stocked with condiments. Lots of games and beach toys. The location is great - half a block from Shamrock Park and the Venetian waterway. Short drive to Venice y and manasota beach

The home was nicely provisioned with everything anyone might need on vacation. It was very clean and comfortable.

Clean and centrally located to lots of beaches, such as Venice Beach, Siesta Key, and Gasparilla Island. Nice screened-in pool, updated kitchen, and plenty of dishes, pots, and pans. We enjoyed our week-long stay in South Venice.

Our stay was nothin short of amazing! The house was perfect! Simple yet had EVERYTHING you would need even down to the little things! The house felt like home away from home! The beds were VERY comfortable! The couch comfy and cozy and perfect to lounge and cuddle on after a long day on beach. The location was ideal! Close to all of our favorite beaches and shamrock park was awesome to go for a walk, run, visit the park and play some tennis with the kids.

We all had a fantastic time! Having the pool was a great addition. The house is beautiful, the kitchen and outdoor grill were amazing. We would definitely stay here again!!

This property was extremely clean and had everything that we could have needed. The pool was very nice and relaxing. It also was a perfect location for stores beaches, and walking trails. Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to revisiting soon.

We had a lovely stay at this clean, comfortable, well-decorated house, which is situated in a quiet neighborhood. The well-equipped kitchen had everything needed to prepare full meals, and the host was generous with supplies for kitchen, laundry, bath, and fun, including beach chairs, pool floaties, and even shark teeth sifters. The home is within walking distance of Shamrock Nature Center, a great place for walking. The host was very responsive to questions. We would definitely stay here again.

The property was beautiful! Mike and his wife have done a super job in making things so clean, modern and inviting. Our kids and grandkids stayed for the weekend in the middle of the trip, they loved the the pool. I was so greatful for the extra security of a alarm on the doors to protect the little ones.Mike was prompt in fixing the one issue we had. We hope we can visit again next year:)

Updated and well stocked house - kitchen and bathroom. In quiet neighborhood close to many beaches and restaurants. We weren’t able to use the pool unfortunately do to it not heating with the weather during our stay. Host provided a lot of information and communicated timely.

The property was clean, comfortable, and the layout was great. The kitchen was well stocked with anything we could have needed. We enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio in the mornings with a great view of the pool and palm trees.The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and is located just a short drive away from restaurants and shopping. We have stayed in MANY VRBO properties over the years. This may have been one of the most comfortable stays yet! It truly was as if we were at our own home - everything you might want is there for your use. Will definitely be staying here again the next time our travels bring us to Venice.

House was perfect! Clean and updated. Kitchen was well stocked for size of house. Appreciated all the extras in the house that are very helpful when flying… soaps, bags, foil, coffee filters, detergent, beach supplies, spices, etc. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

House was spotless. Kitchen well stocked with every possible utensil and and appliance. Pet-friendly with secure fenced yard. Pool was a comfortable 82 degrees which as perfect for December. Excellent communications with owners.

We had a great stay at Coastal Retreat! Michael was a very gracious host, he provided a very helpful guide book for the area. The hiuse was clean and better than the pictures. We would stay again.

Great stay! They were very accommodating. House was very clean. The towels all seemed new. Great amenities. Only drawback was the pool is only heated in winter months. We stayed in October, so the kids didn’t hesitate to get in pool, but it would have been nice to take the edge of with the help of the heater. To be fair, we didn’t ask to turn the heater on because it seemed clear that the heater was only for winter months.

Loved the pool! The kitchen was beautiful and wonderfully stocked. Very close to beach and delicious restaurants. Owners very quick to respond. Will check for availability at this location on our next trip. Thank you for making our ‘second honeymoon’ a memorable holiday!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the cutest house in Venice! Felt like the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. The house was very updated, super clean and we honestly felt at home right away. The pool and backyard area were the icing on the cake - we spent so much time relaxing in the water and enjoying the cozy outdoor space. 10/10 would recommend staying here! We definitely plan to book here again for a future getaway.

This home is amazing. Very clean. Updated decor. Neighborhood is very clean and quiet. The home is supplied with all you will need. The pool couldn’t be nicer. The host were great to communicate with and very informative. We will always look to book this property if in the area. Hands down the overall best VRBO property we have booked.
