Boothbay, Maine
Located in East Boothbay on breathtaking Ocean Point sits this traditional cottage with three porches. Enjoy the view from the screened porch off the kitchen, the covered porch at the front of the house, or on cool days enjoy the view from inside the cozy windowed porch. Inside you'll find 5 bedrooms, 2 bath and stainless appliances.
Built in the 1880s, Three Porches was at one time a lodging for summer visitors called "Millinocket Lodge". It became our owner's family summer home in the early 1950s.
It's a 15 minute walk to Grimes Cove where you can swim and walk along the rocks. When you are ready to leave the Point, it's a 7-mile drive to downtown Boothbay Harbor.

Very comfortable! Loved the porches
The view is unbeatable. This is an authentic Maine cottage. The floor plan has tons of space. The bedrooms are well outfitted with beautiful bedding and spectacular views from every room. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need or want. I also really appreciated having starter supplies in the kitchen and bathrooms- truly thought if everything you might need. The team was very friendly, responsive and accommodating to our special requests. I will definitely rent again and can’t wait to go back.
The view and sunsets were amazing So glad we chose this property.
Wonderful location and view. Plenty of room for a large group, including a large kitchen.
We had a great time staying at this house - it worked great for our family trip. We loved all the porches!
The view speaks for itself. There was everything you expected an then some. Perfect place for a family gathering. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Perfect vacation.
It was so good that we are booking it again for the same week next year.
With 9 people to satisfy, we departed with very fond memories of a wonderful week. The home was clean, well-adorned and nicely furnished. All bedrooms had ocean views and the top room even had an air-conditioner. There was plenty of warm water available for the entire clan for showers. The kitchen was well furnished and the porch was an ideal place for watching the lobster boats in the morning and chatting with the passers-by at all other times. One can see two lighthouses from this same porch. The Ocean Point Inn is just a short stroll away for any meals out or late-night drinks.
