Such a clean, comfortable house for a family vacation of various ages and needs. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in, loved the coffee/tea area with its own sink and filtered/ hot water. The beach was beautiful and my son loved sleeping in the loft. Great visits, highly recommended and love the Arch Cape proximity between Cannon Beach and Manzanita.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family of eight adults for a long weekend. First, the views are spectacular, the deck with chairs, the direct beach access, ability to have a fire on the beach, so many windows to allow for views from inside, the kitchen had everything we needed and space for multiple people to prep, cook, do dishes, fix drinks, the table sat all of us with room to spare, the living room with comfortable seating was perfect for playing games, and the wood-burning fireplace was the cherry on top! The location was wonderful, with great beach access. Gorgeous deck and well stocked kitchen with top end appliances.Not as spacious as pictures appeared and at times it felt like we were a bit on top of each other. The loft was loved by the kiddos, but the vertical ladder was a surprise and could be dangerous for littles.

Lovely location. Loft perfect for 4 older granddaughters and enough very comfortable beds on the main floor for the rest of us. Great view and only steps to the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked and labeled but plenty of drawers and cabinets were available for items we brought. Having 3 full baths was much appreciated. We all enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to returning.

Im new to Vrbo but overall, things went smoothly. Kitchen facilities wer more thn adequte. The website hd not updated they no longer had n outdoor grill - instead a new WOLF STOVE INDOORS.Which was beautuful and my daughter who fixed our wonderful meals , thought it was a great stoves but commted about grilling fish indoors from a daytime charter might make it a bit smelly. KATHLEENNTHE HOST shared that prior tenants had not been cleaning properly which could have led to possible fires so they purchased the indoor wolf stove.,I would li to have an outdoor grill..especially for fish to grill outdoors vs indoors. * Also i wanted to comment that i originally thought i saw it listed as wheelchair accessible For me i can do a few stairs and then use my walker. I use my wheelchair for outings ( shopping etc) , but for others w disabilities it would be a challenge to enter. Lastly the photo posted on the website to me makes it appear as tho there is grass in front and that one could then walk from the grass onto the beach area, but that wasnt the case.large stones separate the now overgrown area, from the sandy beach. And no axcess path for those like myself w disabilities to go directly from the deck to the grass and then on to a sandy didnt I should have clarified w Kathleen . But i could view my grandchildren on the beach etc so all was not lost...i had just hoped i could get to the sand as well but it was mixture of wildflowers and overgrowth and some logs instead of gr

Beautiful beach house in a great area near a cliff and large rocks just 5-7 minutes south of Cannon Beach. Plenty of other beaches in the area within a few minute drive. Well appointed, very comfortable house, plenty of bedrooms and sleeping area for our family of nine adults and two kids. Big round kitchen table that can accomodate at least 15 adults make family interaction great. Big windows everywhere in this home. Tons of natural light. Fifty-foot walk to the beach. The 4th of July, we made a fire on the beach and watched a great firework show. Probably one of the best 4th of July's we've ever experienced. Quick drive in to Cannon Beach for coffee and great food. If you want to go to a GREAT restaurant, try Anna's Table. Upscale, but a real GEM in Cannon Beach. Definitely worth returning to!

We knew we were in for treat with this home and our experience was truly spectacular. The beach was full of incredible seashells and marine life which kept all the kids and adults very entertained. The beach is quite private so it felt very relaxed and safe for our entire party. You can feel all the love that has been put into this property and you couldn’t go an hour without hearing someone in our property complimenting the space. We created so many beautiful memories here that we will cherish for a lifetime.

We were in Arch Cape for our daughter's wedding on the beach and reception in Cannon Beach. The house was our home away from home while we were in town. Stunning views, gorgeous house and very comfortable! Highly recommend and would love to come back.

This house raises the bar. It's clean, it has all the amenities, it has all the views, it has all the exclusivity of a house tucked in to a little nook that makes it feel like a private beach...it just has it all. If this place is available, do not deliberate another second - take it.

This is our second stay at this beautiful home. It has a stunning updated kitchen, with room for us all to cook and visit. The views are breathtaking from both inside and outside the home. Would gladly stay again!!

We have been coming to Arch Cape for many years. After outgrowing our prior vacation rental, we found The Happy Clam and booked. It was perfect for our family and we are excited to return. The home is very well kept and lovely. We had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen plus lots of books and games to keep us entertained. The weather was horrible but we didn’t expect a lot of beach time in November anyway and just enjoyed our family time.

I’ve been going to the Oregon Coast for decades but had never stayed in Arch Cape, but when I came across the pictures of The Happy Clam, I knew it would be perfect for my family. What should have been a group of 6 dwindled down to just me and my husband, this house would have comfortably housed us all. So many amenities in this place, literally steps from a quiet end of beach, and on a quiet street, this place is a true sanctuary. The host and property manager are THE best, we’re so responsive and the check in instructions were so helpful. I am in love with this property and cannot wait to go back!! It’s definitely my new Oregon Coast happy place!

Our family of 8 adults all loved the Happy Clam! The house, deck and views are even better than the pictures. The open floor plan, deck and expansive kitchen were perfect for a large family or group. Being the end house on beach was very peaceful, with great access to the gorgeous beach. At low tide we walked for over 4 miles exploring caves, tidepools and gorgeous hillsides. We would highly recommend and hope to return.

My family gathered for a five-day event and stayed at the Happy Clam. We absolutely loved the ocean-front property and access just steps away from the home. We had a mix of generations and everyone found the home to be clean, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of space to spread out, and even if you have a full house like we did it still felt very open. The property manager was prompt when texted and we were able to find everything we were looking for. 10/10 would recommend.

Everything about this place is perfect. Do yourself a favor and stay here. Stunning evening sunsets. Long quiet beach walks in the lifting mist. Salmon by the beach fire. Wake-up morning coffee in deckchairs in your pajamas. At sunrise. Do this.

We had a very nice stay at this property. The location is perfect…steps from the beach, beautiful view, tide pools without the crowds. House was very nice inside with plenty of room for our family. The deck is a great place to relax while looking out in the ocean.

The house worked very well for our family’s week long stay at the Oregon Coast. It is situated at the very south end of Arch Cape and at times made it feel as if we had the entire little corner all to ourselves. The house is nicely remodeled and oriented to the view. It has a true chefs kitchen; which our family appreciates. Great experience!
