Stayed Sep 26, 2025This is a beautiful house. It's spacious and super clean. It has gorgeous views and decor. The driveway and parking area are magnificent. Having said that - we called it the house of a million stairs. Be prepared to haul groceries/luggage/kids up and up and up. It would be amazing for larger parties and we'll definitely be staying there again!

Stayed Dec 29, 2024Great overall. Large space for everyone to spread out. Great kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. Beautiful views of the lake. Bathroom floors and rugs need to cleaner. Outdoor trash container needs to be larger for family stays. Outdoor terrain and indoor steps were worrisome for kids and elderly folks.

Stayed Jul 7, 2024With 4 adults and 5 kids ages 8-17 this was the perfect vacation home. Close to all the outdoor adventures we wanted and an amazing lqy out. It was perfect for time together but also big enough to have space when you wanted it. The first floor was a hit with the kids. They claimed it as the kids room/game room. We look forward to booking this home again.

Stayed Jun 11, 2024Great house! Lots of extras to make the stay great...games, firewood, lighters for fire and grill, plus all the cookware for dinner in. The drive way is pretty steep and there are a lot of steps. Just an FYI for older guests and little kids.

Stayed Jun 23, 2024Three groups, ages 6-68, stayed here from our dad's 80th surprise birthday party. The house was immaculate. Comfy beds. Room for everyone and spare couches and blowup mattress, if needed. Beautiful view of the lake. Not too far from Smithville and relatively easy access to I40. It's about 10 miles from a main road and one should be careful of the narrow road, tight curves, and steep drops. Also know there are a lot of stairs. Would definitely stay here again when in the area.
