We enjoyed our stay in Franklin! Such a lovely little cottage that was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very gracious and kind….even left banana bread for us to enjoy. Would definitely stay again!

What a fantastic property. Mark and Damon were very welcoming and wonderful. We had our dog with us and their yard was perfect for us. The captain’s quarters were very well appointed and had everything we needed.

Gorgeous location in a neighborhood surrounded by stunning, picture-perfect homes just a couple of blocks from downtown Franklin. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Franklin, TN.

Watch out for extra charges. When we booked this room we thought the cost was $125 plus tax, only to find there was a $50 cleaning charge and a $21 booking fee. This listing came up with all the other hotels in the area, and the extra charges were hidden until we booked. No other hotels had extra charges on the Expedia site. The A/C has a program that does not allow for raising or lowering after 10:00 PM, so we were hot all night long. There are no blackout curtains in the space and there is a large bright light coming through the shutters that make it difficult to sleep. There was no Kleenex or bar soap and only enough coffee to have one cup. The owner came by as we were packing to leave and asked how the stay was. When I stated the surprise on the charges, she said she had never looked at the listing and after all this is a business. I would not recommend this for one night stays, and suggest you fully understand that. $125 room turns out to be a $231 charge on your credit card that can’t be cancelled.

We stayed there for the weekend to attend the Franklin Dickens Festival and visit friends. The property was great, and in a beautiful part of Franklin Historic District. It was well decorated. Nice and cozy. Had a large yard and a large firepit and sitting area. Easy check in and easy parking. Just a short walk, 15-20 minutes, to downtown. We loved our stay and looking forward to staying the in the future.

What a beautiful and delightful stay! The Captains Quarters was a charming studio location. The grounds are beautiful! We walked in and were immediately taken by the accommodations. I can’t think of a single negative thing to say! Our only regret was that we didn’t have an opportunity for coffee on the front porch! We will definitely be back!

Such a lovely property and gracious hosts. We loved everything about our stay. Property was a nice walk from the town center and in a safe neighborhood. Damon thought of everything her guests may need and we were even treated with delicious banana bread. We’ll definitely stay here again!

Property was exactly as described on-line. It was very clean, well-organized and comfortable. The property and neighborhood in Historic Franklin was beautiful - drawing you to sit out on the lawn or take a nice walk on the sidewalks. There was a variety of good restaurants and shops nearby and the large free parking garage made being in town very handy. Loved the delicious banana bread provided by our hosts!

Our stay exceeded our every expectation! The cottage was attractive and well supplied for our needs and comfort. Our host were warm and friendly. They offered excellent suggestions as to points of interest and the best places to eat. Hated to leave and look forward to staying again the next time we are in the area.

I was able to leave my car parked for the weekend and walk to the event in the little downtown area. Cute little cottage, with everything I needed. Mark is just the nicest man, and I hope to meet his wife when I return to explore more of the area. somtharea.

The house was the perfect size for 2 people. The yard and fire pit were amazing. Franklin was a beautiful town. We were close to everything. If the weather would have cooperated everything would have been perfect

A well appointed one room guesthouse unit in Franklin, and close to many things. Owner was very easy to work with and very responsive. The unit was quiet, well decorated, and quite comfortable to be in. A humidifier is badly needed because the unit is very dry though. Overall, a very nice stay.!

We were building a house so our stay was over a month long. Quite unusual. The owners are on the property and were very responsive to any issues we may have had. Great location and a quaint setting. Had access to a grill and plenty of parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The property was very warm and homelike. The Hosts were very kind and helpful. It was one of our best places we have stayed at. We have stayed at Airb&b this was so much better.

The Captains Quarters was perfect for my stay and was everything the pictures reflected in the listing. The owners were very friendly and helpful when needed. I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. It was an easy walk to Historic Main Street and the downtown shops and restaurants.

This was a relaxing weekend. The Captains quarters was nicely decorated and so homey. We enjoyed being greeted by the host, Mark, and he helped the takeout gentlemen find us for our dinner. I highly recommed this place, and plan to come back next year!

Great location

From beginning to end, our stay at the Captains Quarters was a positive experience. With an arrival later than anticipated, the door was unlocked, lights were on, and we were greeted warmly by the owner. This sweet property is in a beautiful neighborhood, it has everything you need, and is close to downtown Franklin, Leipers Fork and many historical landmarks. We highly recommend this property.

We had such a wonderful time staying here; the home was so charming and lovely!! Mark met us as soon as we arrived and we loved chatting and hearing the history of the home! Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. :)

A superb location on a shady quiet street among the beautiful historic homes of Franklin. Lovely walk to town. Very warm greeting from the owners. The cottage is extremely comfortable for both of us and our dog. The yard is so beautiful. Truly a gem!

We have stayed with these hosts multiple times over the past couple of years with visits to TN - definitely recommend and will come back!
