    We enjoyed the house - a lovely old house with modern amenities. We also appreciated its proximity to many restaurants, ships, etc. The parking was great as was the ample space. It fit our family of dove quite nicely. We would stay here again.

    Lady Banks is a beautiful, clean house in a location that is just two blocks from King St. and near lots of restaurants and shopping. It was the hottest week of the year (100 degrees one day) and it was so great to come back to a house with excellent air conditioning. The master bedroom is the best - large with a sitting room and outdoor porch and a large bathroom with both a shower and soaking tub plus large walk-in closet. The other bedroom was fine, bathroom and shower along with the bedroom. We needed to communicate with the Stay Duvet team, and they were very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and cookware and such; lots of books in the library room. The television is one that streams from your own account, no local programming at this time. The driveway, as stated in the description, is tight for large vehicles, and you may not be able to open doors on both sides while parked, but we used the parking spot and used Uber to get around or just walked. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend the property to others. Small issues with the property were referred to the Stay Duvet team, none of which were deal breakers.

    Overall, a wonderful experience in a historic yet nicely updated and maintained living space. Two beautiful upstairs rooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The third bathroom with shower is located on the first floor and serves the living room, den, and kitchen areas. Comfortable beds. Nicely appointed kitchen. A/C works great. The living room/sitting room furniture is not very comfortable. There is a lot of street noise (both from people and vehicular traffic) late into the night likely because the home is on a busy intersection very close to popular nearby destinations. The only truly negative is the washer and dryer: The washing machine door seal has heavy mildew especially at the top. The dryer has finicky dial settings and issues with starting even after the service person checked/repaired it.

    This is a great property. It has the Charleston charm, and the location is absolutely perfect. It is within walking distance to everything. This place is great for a family and/or for a couple getaway to stay. Property management was very responsive to our requests. Extremely timely. Property felt safe and secure. The parking spot is a huge plus especially if you have a car and want to travel to the beaches. Parking on the streets in Charleston is not ideal and easier to just park in a garage. We will recommend this place to family and friends to stay if they visit Charleston.

    This is a beautifully restored property that is a gem. Comfortable places indoors as well as on the patio and second floor porch, where we enjoyed a cocktail while watching the sun set.Having a parking place certainly makes life a bit easier.Like most urban neighborhoods, one has to be aware of your surroundings but we didn’t have any issues.Would recommend to friends and hope to have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.
