Stellar 4 bedroom home, newly renovated in Ankeny

Wonderful stay to host Thanksgiving for our family in the area. The best stocked kitchen of any property we’ve EVER stayed at. Beautiful and comfortable furnishings. Really felt like home. Thanks so much for making it available.

Very comfortable property to stay at and very clean! Good central location as well for the places we needed to be! Hosts were very prompt in communication and came that same weekend to address an issue we had. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area for another event!

Bachelorette weekend stay for six. It was perfect for what we needed, close to Ankeny activities. Everyone in our group commented on how nice this home was, very clean with everything we needed. We loved all that Ankeny had to offer and enjoyed staying in this nice, quiet neighborhood.

Nice home for the bridal party to stay in the night before the wedding. There is enough room for everyone? Kitchen was well supplied. Furniture and everything were wonderful.

Well organized home and very comfortable with medium firm mattresses. lots of kitchen seating and well appointed kitchen and the Kcup dispenser was a nice touch. Easy email communication with owner and good location.

We loved our short/quick stay in Ankeny. The home was an easy drive to Iowa State for graduation. There were many stores/restaurants nearby. The beds were all comfortable. The home had everything that would be needed. There are stairs to go to the bedrooms. We would stay here again if we are in Ankeny! The owner communicated well.

We stayed there on our way to Tulip festival I. Pella. The home was perfect for us. The owner gave all the details properly and we were able to enjoy our time.

We stayed over Thanksgiving and it was nice to have another oven and kitchen space to prep food (between my sisters place and this VRBO). No bedrooms on main level so consider that if you can’t do stairs. 3 up and 1 bedroom down. Rooms are nice and beds were comfy. Kitchen was well equipped with coffee and an iced tea maker! Utensils, dishes and everything you’d need. At the time of our stay there was a fridge in the garage which was nice. We would recommend this VRBO and would consider staying again in the future.

I would recommend this property. Well stocked and clean. Short drive to downtown Des Moines. Close to everything in Ankeny.

We were a group of five siblings who hadn’t been together for quite a while. We had a wonderful stay in this perfect place.

This house was lovely and just perfect for what we needed. We were going to a family wedding and needed a house for two nights. We had our daughter, spouse and 3 grandchildren with us. The house had everything and more for a VRBO. I highly recommend this house. The kids were happy and so were we!! They had blankets, games, puzzles, great outdoor swing, grill, and everything we needed to make breakfast each morning! They made life easy for people traveling and making it feel like home!!!

Got the house for my family to stay in for a weekend wedding in Ankeny. Worked great for us. There are stairs to the bedrooms so the elderly may have some problems. Everything was very clean and well maintained.

We stayed here for the weekend of the Indy Car Race. It was the perfect amount of room for the amount of people we had. It was stocked with all the basics you may need and the location was nice and quiet.

Family had a lovely time

We stayed here while visiting the Des Moines area and riding several bike trails in the area. The location was perfect for both purposes. (The High Trestle Trail begins in Ankeny). We stored our bikes and gear in the garage which was an important factor in choosing Legacy. The home is nicely decorated, and fully equipped with new/modern furnishings and a complete kitchen. We had much more space than we needed. This property would be perfect for a family. We enjoyed sitting outside on the raised deck both in the a.m. and p.m. The technology (WiFi) was quite solid. While we didn't use the TV's during our stay they are located throughout the home including each bedroom. The host was extremely quick to respond to the one need we had during our stay. We will definitely plan on staying here again should our biking travels bring us back to the area. As I titled the review, this property was Very nice!. The only negative was our trip was too short!
