I want to preface this review by saying that I travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, and prefer to stay in homes. I've never had so many problems and such a condescending response. I chose to stay in this place, even though it was pricey, compared to others, because it had air conditioning and was close to my daughter's apartment. I traveled to be with her after she had a wisdom tooth extraction. The place is spacious and within walking distance of a nice grocery store -- New Seasons -- and the Peninsula Rose Garden. Sadly, the following list of things that went wrong made my stay quite stressful:1. I arrived from a long cross-country flight (Boston-PDX) after 9 pm to a house that was 80 degrees and quite stuffy.2. The internet throughout my stay was spotty, making it impossible for me to work remotely on the two days I was supposed to. The host insisted that they had checked and everything was fine, and it was a problem with my computer. I had to use my phone's hotspot the entire time!3. There were no instructions on how to operate the shower, despite a review that indicated a problem with that. The excuse of the host was that they were told there were too many notes in the house.4. The grill in the yard was filthy -- it hasn't been cleaned in a while.5. Fire alarm went off, out of the blue, at 4:40 AM!6. Communication with #StayinMyDistrict: The vibe I got was passive-aggressive, bordering on gaslighting, both via email and on the phone.

My daughter needed concentrated study time for her exams. We enjoyed spreading out in the living room and walks on breaks.

This is a great place to stay while visiting Portland . The space is clean and has everything we needed . We did have a problem with getting the shower to work but it was clarified by the owner immediately . Communication was awesome quick response . I would recommend this space when visiting

Stayed here with some friends for a weekend in Portland.Only thing I would call out-- I drove down from Seattle and my friends were flying in and arriving earlier than me. Knowing that I'd be on the road during check-in time, I requested the check-in info a little earlier (12pm vs 2pm) that day so I could send it to my friends BEFORE I started driving. I did NOT request an early check in.The host was firm about only sending the check in at 2, which was frustrating-- I had to watch the clock and make an extra stop to forward along the check-in info. The home was great! Just would have appreciated a little more flexibility with the check-in info.

Was a great and cozy home base for a quick family visit. Well appointed and the only downside was we were only there to sleep!

We had difficulty to my using 2 different e-mail addresses. The man that helped us on Customer Stervice went way above and beyond in his assistance, as did Traci the local properity manager who helped me with some other issues, which were mine and the houses. House is very comfortable, plenty of linens. We had a wonderful weekend especially being in that location, close to where we needed to be.

We rented for our out of town older relatives that were visiting for a family function. The house is adorable, has the Craftsman feel with just enough updates to be comfortable. It was well provisioned and clean. The stairs to the second bedroom were a little concern but worked out well, thankfully.
