Stay @ Coastal Blue - Folly Beach

The layout of the house was very open. Bedrooms were a nice size. Having two living spaces was very nice. View of sunrises were spectacular. Parking was ideal. The house can be loud and those that are sleeping on lower level will hear everything. The dryer needs to be upgraded as well as the refrigerator.

The check in process was very easy. We did have a little trouble with the elevator but I thinkThe outside door was stuck. After that it was good. The house had a great view of the ocean.It was the perfect size for our party of 10. The kitchen was well equipped. The 2 decks were awesome!

The outdoor trashcans were overflowing. They did send someone to empty the trashcan, but that didn’t solve the problem as the trashcan was full of maggots and dirt at the bottom. It two more days for them to address that.2)They replaced the HVAC while we were staying there. People were working for a full day. They entered he bedroom while I was in the shower. I did not know they were there a walked out in my towel. I’m just grateful it wasn’t my wife in the shower.3)They provide the absolute bare minimum for supplies. They have a kitchen box with a mini dish soap, two dishwasher tablets and two laundry tablets for a week. Make sure you pack/buy all supplies you need in the house. They also discard any leftover coffee beans/salt/pepper etc, so do not expect to be able to find anything other than cooking dishes.

Well-appointed, luxury property. Many great spaces to create family memories.

Enjoyed celebrating my son’s 21st birthday. Really enjoyed the location. The ocean views from the top floor were amazing!!! The only down l side was. The linens were not changed. There was a toe nail found by my sons pillow. Also, there were large palmetto bugs in the kitchen. 3 came out at once.

Overall a wonderful unit. Clean, near the beach and lovely decks. However we were there during Helene. We lost power. We huddled together in 2nd floor bathroom. Disappointing that there were no flashlights, no batteries and no instructions on what to do in case of hurricane!!! Also bateries in tv remote were dead

Perfect size for 2 families, near the beach and retail area.

I booked this house for 9 people, all family ranging in age from 60 to my Mom of 97. We were three couples and three singles, plenty of rooms and baths to go around. The elevator was a god send for moving in and out and for my mom - the stairs may have done her in. The views are lovely, sitting on the upper deck with coffee was even better. Many of us walked the beach daily, and some even swam. This time of year the water was only 62 degrees. Beach access was just one house away so easily walkable from the house. Town was walkable too, I would say half a mile. Excellent location, lovely house with nice open floor plan for socializing.

This a great home for a large group. You can't beat the proximity to the beach, gorgeous views over the smaller houses, and the easy walking distance to town.
