Stadium Hill House

Was a wonderful stay in Charlottesville!

Host was very helpful & house was very accommodating with all its amenities. Host had driveway & sidewalks cleared of snow which was very helpful!

This is the perfect setting for connecting with family and friends in the area.

My family had a great long weekend in Charlottesville. Excellent location and the house was clean and perfect size for us.

Was a great, nice little place to stay! Very conveniently located and had everything we needed! We didnt have any issues checking in or out and our dogs had a yard to actually run in! Will absolutely be looking it back up for future stays in Charlottesville

John was very communicative and house was as described. Close to the University and on a quiet street.

Perfect location next to UVA. House was super clean, lots of room, comfy beds including one downstairs which was great for my daughter after having foot surgery. Backyard was fantastic, private and enjoyed by us and our dog.

I was disappointed with the enclosed porch made into a bedroom. The bathroom, and shower for that bedroom was in the hallway going to the outside. That bathroom was very small your head hits the door while on the commode, there was an extension cord running from an outlet on the floor to the back wall to work the exhaust fan. We had to plunge that commode frequently. Everything else was satisfactory

Stay went well. Wished there was a washer/dryer but it didn’t promise that so that’s on me. Location was very very close to Smith Football stadium so would be convenient for games.

Host was very helpful and quick to answer. The property is in a great location close to many shops, restaurants and campus activities

Check in was easy and the kitchen was nicely stocked-thoughtful to have a variety of coffees. Comfy bed and nice bathroom upstairs. The street was very quiet. We were surprised about how busy Charlottesville was.

My partner and I stayed with another couple as we planned to visit a few wineries in the area over the holiday weekend. This property is ideally located close to the downtown area which has a ton of options for dining, but is still also close to the wine region’s best offerings as well. The home is spacious and has nice outdoor areas as well. We enjoyed a meal on the back patio one night by the fire. Thanks for having us!

House is lovely, well stocked, and close to Grounds, JPA, the Corner. We had a great time! Would come back to this property and recommend to others.

We were very disappointed …..the description and photos of this property are misleading … there are only window AC units and ONE full bath ( the other is a primitive set- up on first floor with a toilet in closet ; tiny sink and an old shower in another closet. The third bedroom is a porch enclosure without windows or closet. Unfortunately, a fuse tripped this no electric on second floor and thus we could not got ready for our event ( plus it was very hot bc no AC. We had no idea where the fuse box was located ( no key for basement accessible). John responded to our messages but did not come by to fix the situation. I would NOT recommend this property!

House was perfect and close to John Paul Jones arena and many restaurants. Would recommend this property.

Have stayed here many times. The house has some quirks but it’s always been a great stay with great communication from the owner.

We loved our time at the Stadium Hill House. We were traveling to attend the SMU football game at UVA. The house was a very short and easy walk to the stadium. Everything was very clean and well appointed. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance. We could not have been happier with our decision to stay there,

We had a great time and this was the effect place to stay. Great amenities and location. We hope to stay at a fire date for a football game or other event. Favorite place to stay this far in Cville!

This was the perfect home for a visit to Charlottesville. It was very clean and nicely decorated. The host was easy to contact and thought of everything…from a sewing repair kit to half & half in the fridge. Location was great for visiting the university, restaurants and wineries.

The property is listed with a hot tub. One of the features I really wanted and there wasn't one on the property. Also, I became very sick while staying there. The other guests were fine, but please make sure to clean the 1st floor bedroom area thoroughly.

Great home, all the amenities you need. Very clean , private & spacious. We would definitely recommend this home.
