Spring Tide : Refurbished 4‑Bed Family Home with Garden in Rhosneigr | Managed by Anglesey Holiday L

We have stayed with AHL many times, however, this property was below standard compared to other ones we have stayed in. The cleanliness was not of the normal high AHL standard we have come to expect. We were a party of 5 adults and a toddler so bedroom configuration was fine but the living area I would say seats 5 max so although the property sleeps 8 the seating area does not accommodate this number. Outside space was fine but the outdoor furniture is very worn . Location is excellent. Upstairs shower room needs some maintenance-shower grout needs a good clean and the ceiling above the shower has peeling paint and staining as it is not tiled far enough up the sloping ceiling to stop water splashing up the wall. The mattresses in the downstairs twin bedroom seem to be piled up on beds and some were stained. Flooring in living area is lifting in areas and has quite a big ‘lump’ in the middle which could cause a fall if you were not paying attention. The ad states ‘refurbished’ but I think this was a few years ago.

Spring Tide is a gorgeous house to stay in! Easy to get to the high street & beach when using the path at the side via the ‘pub’ car park at the back of the house (was not in use during our stay). The utility room was really useful and the kitchen/dining area was great to use as a family, coming from a long, dark Victorian house it was so lovely! A few points of feedback - Seating, as per previous comments I’d say this would be most comfortable for a small family, there is not enough seating for 8 bottoms in the lounge. Was just right for 2 of us to relax with our baby. At some point it’d be worth swapping the 2 chairs for another sofa. Flooring - there’s a lump where the old dividing wall used to be, making the flooring uneven when going to the kitchen area so needed caution. Temperature - Upstairs was much cooler when downstairs was plenty warm enough. Advise visitors setting downstairs radiators to 3 to give upstairs a chance to warm up. Baby gates - As a new family it’d be useful to have retractable stair gates that we’ve had in other lettings in the area. All in all a lovely stay and I’d definitely return as our little boy gets bigger!

Overall really good but disappointed at the nighttime heating settings-it was very cold in the night with the thermostat set at 12 degrees which couldn’t be overridden.Seemed a bit mean to have it set that low.

Five adults and two dogs. Lots of space and the local pub with pool table and darts was a great find. Close to the beach and the welcome pack was wonderful.

Spring Tide is in a fantastic location, with everything you could need for a perfect holiday in Rhosneigr. Standard of the accomodation is high, with plenty of hot water and an excellent utility room with drying space for wetsuits/ wet coats. Garden sheltered and dog proof. Would love to return next Summer, but sadly it’s already booked solid.

Booked property as attending wedding in village. My husband and I, son and partner and then joined by friends. Lovely 4 bedroom house, nice enclosed garden, sea view, Everything we needed. Plenty of board games, and good WiFi to tide us over the less than perfect weather!Only problem was a noisy motor on fridge freezer which started towards end of stay, but management were very quick to respond to this when they were alerted to the problem.Overall very pleased with property and would be happy to stay again

Great designed and fitted property with good sized bedrooms, and bathrooms with a great open space living arera.

We had a lovely week staying in Spring Tide. The cottage is so close to the beach and the town. It is very comfortable with a useful utility room for hanging items to dry. From the upstairs front bedroom you can see the sea and the bed is enormous. All the rooms are specious and the family kitchen and living area is wonderful.

We've stayed in a lot of houses in Rhosneigr and this was up there with the best. We loved the layout and the location. It was a home from home. Great garden for our dog too. We will, hopefully, be back.
