Awelfa: Modern 3-Bed Home in Rhosneigr | Managed by Anglesey Holiday Lettings

This is a great property right in the centre of Rhosneigr, it was one of the best properties we have stayed in and we have been visiting the area for a number of years. I would certainly recommend it for its layout, equipment & position.

We stayed here and it was great as very clean and tidy and modern and ideally placed at the centre of Rhosneigr. The only very minor negative is the lounge is very small probably due to the third bedroom created upstairs; however, on the flip side the kitchen / diner is large so if you like a party in the kitchen then this for you!

Great house & location . Definitely a bonus having 3 en-suites & parking for 2 big cars . Sink tap does drip but that’s easily sorted & oven would benefit from a second shelf . Under cupboard lighting would be a bonus too on a winter stay over .Lovely bedding & towels & a great welcome pack tho We were down one hand towel but these are small things to rectify in an otherwise superb house.

This house is wonderful newly fitted out with a lovely upstairs kitchen diner and a super kingsize bedroom with walk in shower downstairs There's also a cosy tv lounge upstairs and 2 other beautiful bedrooms .Entrance hallway is lovely and welcoming.Just a few minutes to beach restaurants and shop excellent

We had a great stay at Awelfa. The house was spotless and really easy to stay in, with a well-equipped kitchen, large fridge/freezer, and smart TVs that were perfect for rainy days. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and gave us enough to get started. The house is beautifully decorated with bright Janet Bell artwork, every bedroom has its own en-suite, and the utility room was ideal for muddy clothes. The enclosed yard, although small, was perfect and safe for our dog. Parking easily fit two large cars (with potential for a small third). The only minor issue was some confusion with the neighbouring cottage’s marked parking space, though this didn’t affect us. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Rhosneigr, close to cafés, restaurants, and beaches. The digital brochure was also brilliant and really handy. Highly recommend Awelfa — we’d happily stay again!

Location of the property is great. Easy walk to the beach and Main Street. Nice to look out of the kitchen window onto the pretty street behind. Parking is easy for 2/3 cars. Inside the property is clean, spacious and fresh with everything we needed. Would definitely choose this property again.

We had a great stay at Awelfa, the location is great within a short walk of shops and amenities and the beach is only 5 minutes away. The home itself was perfect for our needs with everything you would need provided. The only think that would help would be to fit some coat hooks in the hallway where you enter, there wasn't anywhere to hang your coats, not a problem in the summer but as we head into winter, other than that it was great and we would recommend.

Booked at very short notice and was very impressed with the comprehensive information was that was quickly sent. House is close to all amenities in Rhosneigr and the parking is outside the front of the house. Well equipped nicely decorated house, it had everything we needed. The double bedroom on the first floor where we slept is a bit snug but the bed is very comfortable. The 2 other bedrooms on the ground floor are a very good size. We hope to return soon

Very good location just off the high street. Parking in front of the house and plenty of bathrooms. Well equipped and clean tidy and comfortable.

Clean, modern, had everything we needed. Nice comfy beds and lovely modern bathroom. Of course, the location is a winner We'd definitely stay again.

We had a lovely week at this property. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Not the best first impression when you arrive and look out of the back bedroom window. This overlooks the back off the surf shop and unfortunately there is a lot of waste left out there which looks quite unpleasant. The kitchen is very well equipped. The snug room is lovely but would be a bit cramped for more than 3 people

Lovely house very convenient for beach, shops, cafes etc. we were a 3 generation family and found it worked well. We were very lucky to have had excellent weather. Just a mention maybe a grab rail could be put in the big downstairs walk in shower for older guests.

We received this holiday as a gift from a very special couple as our son was diagnosed with leukaemia in December, we feel very lucky to have been gifted this holiday. The location was fantastic, 5 min walk to the beach, walked it with bare feet twice. Shop, fish and chips, cafes and rental for watersports all within 5 mins. Beach was beautiful we enjoyed it in the day and in the evening. Perfect location. The house was absolutely perfect for us, we had our son (5) and daughter (2) both in their own rooms. En-suites in each bedroom very handy. It was so spacious and comfortable. The beds were incredible! I checked out the brand of the mattress it was so good. Showers were luxurious and the bath was perfect for the kids. Visited Menai, beautiful little place my husband and son did the rib-rides ‘Menai adventures’ boat trip. Both had a fantastic time. Visited Beaumaris, enjoyed the wheel and the castle. Received a gift bag on arrival full of really handy stuff and some really lovely treats. Scarlett’s fish and chips were delicious and we ate at the oyster catcher, food was lovely, and the kids played in the sand dunes. We would definitely recommend this holiday to friends and family and would definitely stay again. We went kayaking and tried bodyboarding. So wonderful being by the sea. It was the perfect holiday that we all needed. Thanks so much.

We had a great stay at Awelfa. Brilliant location. Walking distance to the beach and all the local restaurants, with plenty of off street parking. The house is beautifully finished with 3 en-suites and everything you need for a stay away. Hopefully we’ll be back soon. Would highly recommend.

Just returned from a great week in Rhosneigr. Great weather and a fabulous cottage. Had a minor problem when we first arrived, one of the downstairs windows would not lock. rang the office and within 30 minutes, a maintenance man came out and changed the lock, problem fixed very quickly. Thank you. Cottage was very spacious, and was good that we had 2 good sized TV's, as I could watch sport whilst my wife and daughter watched other things is the lounge. Found losts of clean beaches to visit with the dog, good food in local pubs and a good fish and chip shop round the corner. Would recomend The Ship at Red Wharf Bay for Sunday lunch (booking recomended), esp if you like large size portions.

Lovely property in the centre so handy for everything , beach , shops , pubs ! Clean comfortable as always with AHL , been to a few places now and they are always super clean ! So thanks for that Everything catered for , esp the en-suite bathroom and shower rooms to each bedroom Only downside for me was the stairs to the outside space which were quite steep , not ideal for small children , although my dog had no problems getting down ! Limited space although it was enclosed , minor problem for us Parking good We enjoyed the get together !

Clean, comfortable, modern, close to the cafes and beach. Ideal for family break. Pub opposite, but didn't have any issues with noise. Book it today!

We booked last minute for 2 nights. I brought my parents for a break by the sea. The house is perfect, each bedroom has its own bathroom. A variation of shower and baths. The kitchen space is huge! The snug was just right for a small group, could be a tad cramped with a big group but having the kitchen (with its own huge tele) space right across still keeps everyone close. The beds were super comfy! The pillows a dream. The location is amazing, just tucked away down the side of the Y Morfa pub yet still quiet. We had everything we needed in our door stop. Be mindful the house next door parks alongside your parking here. There is a sign to point this out but we only had one car as did they so no issues at all. Even with a car there we’d of got another car parked fine. Will stay here again. Great house!

We had such a lovely stay in Anglesey. The house is modern, clean and tidy. The bedrooms are a lovely size and all with ensuits. The kitchen is well equipped with a good sized table for everyone. It feels very homely. The house is very close to shops, pub, restaurants and the beach. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Excellent stay, central to the village and it's amenities. So easy for sharing with grown up family

Had a fantastic time here, we also stayed here in January, so was nice to return. Great location, shame there’s no garden, as the weather was supper sunny during our stay.

Excellent property for a stay in Rhosneigr! Convenient location for everything. Comfortable, clean, modern, quality facilities. Would definitely stay here again!

The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were however a bit lost and also had to alter our Asda delivery and a postal delivery on arrival, as the postcode we were given was wrong as it took us to another part of the village. The name plate on the property is Tremfor, and not Awelfa as you would expect as this was the property name we were given. I did point this issue out to an Anglesey Holiday Lettings representative, that emailed me back saying We have not previously experienced any issues with our guests finding the property. We have used Anglesey Holiday Lettings quite a few times previously and found them to be really good, however, I do think a little more attention to detail on behalf of Anglesey Holiday Lettings, would have saved us a little stress at the start of the holiday.

What a cracking place. Recently refurbished with some nice touches and only a few minutes away from some great walks. Highly recommend this holiday home.
