Spring Acre Log Cabin

Friendly host. Accommodating. Recreation room and available games, videos etc. were a big plus. Comfortable and convenient.

All I can say is that I loved it!! This will be the place I book next time I am in PA. The owners were so kind and made us feel welcomed. Thanks again!

We had a beautiful Thanksgiving holiday at the cabin. Great spaces for games and puzzles, watching movies, reading by the fire, and playing pool.

The place was just what we were looking for. Very clean very comfortable and a very quiet neighborhood. Rocking chairs on the porch, fire pit out back and a pool table in the basement enough room for my four friends and I.!

We loved this house! Was perfect for the kids inside had gates at top and bottom of stairs which was huge with the kids. Also loved the outdoor area and that it was fenced in for the kids! Close to Dutch wonderland and cherry crest farm. Ken is the best and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

The house,the property is gorgeous and peaceful I stood there for 3 night and every nights I soak in the tub big enough for 2 the ower Ken is a very nice man Its a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and noises of the city great place for photos to my daughter inlaw took some pregnancy photos done right there with our phone will love to stay again

Our stay at the Spring Acre Log Cabin was fantastic. This home beautifully marries the look of a log cabin with all modern amenities (and more!). Our children loved the game room and large spaces, and we enjoyed the jet tub and quiet locale. The location was ideal for kid-friendly activities in Lancaster Co., and the house was perfectly equipped for our toddler and infant too. Ken was a gracious and helpful host when we needed him. Our family is looking forward to coming back again!

This was our 2nd time to stay. Ken is a great host with all the accommodations you'll ever need. Location is central to everything Lancaster has to offer yet it's far enough away to enjoy the peace & quite. Great place for a large family & includes activities to entertain the kids. This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. This is in the heart of Lancaster Amish country and the click dry clack of horse carriages can be heard from the spacious porch. There is a full game room in the basement and we used this as a separate bedroom with a cot that was provided. Ken was a fantastic and very friendly host. He was willing to provide anything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here.

My family and I were in town for a wedding and booked this house as it was centrally located. I am so glad we did! Nestled in Amish country, we were treated to beautiful vistas, quaint Amish horse drawn carriages, delicious local restaurants and more. The home is the cleanest, most well appointed VRBO home we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It has everything you need to feel right at home. The jacuzzi soaking tub in the master suite is amazing! We made breakfast every morning after visiting a local market. I was so excited to see the very nice skillets (no scratched up T-fal like we usually see at rental homes). The basement has a pool table and an air hockey table as well as a tv and comfy couch. Our young adults loved it! The laughter billowing up the stairs was heart warming. There is also satellite television with lots of channels including local news.The owner, Ken, met us there and showed us around on our first day. He gave us excellent advice on places to go to experience local flavors. He also helped us with a wedding emergency when we needed to get plates delivered overnight for the reception. He is such a gentleman and embodies hospitality! We loved our time in Paradise! We will be back!

Adorable cabin! Communication with Kenneth was great and he was very accommodating. We were not in town to see the sights, only to see family. The cabin was comfortable and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

The cabin is very nicely decorated, plenty of room for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 toddlers). Accommodations clean and spacious. We are hoping to visit the cabin again. The location is ideal for Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound, as well as, the Strasburg Railway Station.The property owner is accessible to answer questions prior to and after arrival.We truly enjoyed our stay!

Ken was on site as soon as we arrived and extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. It was tucked nicely into the woods and close enough to all the attractions. Noah at sight and sound was incredible. There is so much to do and not enough time. We will most definitely be coming back to visit and hope to stay here again! Couldnt have asked for a better location for our little wedding of some family and friends. Its a gorgeous, quiet area and the cabin was very clean, cozy, and accommodating. It is even bigger and better in person than in the photos. Ken treated us like family and made sure we had everything. We are so happy we found this property and so grateful for the kind owner!

We stayed here while visiting family in Lancaster County. It was wonderful to return at the end of busy days to have quiet time for ourselves. The home is beautiful, well set up for guests, everything you need in a home away from home. The wrap around porch was a bonus for the quiet evenings in this country setting. The host was vey attentive and accommodating.

Ken and his cabin were absolutely amazing. Ken helped us get checked in and was there for us with any questions. If we ever visit the amish country again or just need a getaway, this will definitely be at the top of our list!

We had a wonderful stay at the Spring Acre Cabin! The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and extremely clean. We had children ages 4-15 with us and everyone had a great time. The gameroom downstairs is awesome! The owner is very kind and helpful. This place had a great feel and is highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the cabin and the host was amazing! This was an incredible experience through and through.

Mr Ken was the most excellent host. He waited up late for our arrival to show us things about his house. He was so accommodating- even brought over his microwave when ours quit. He is on sight so very convenient. The neighborhood was beautiful and so close to Sight and Sound Theater and wonderful restaurants. The house was immaculate and with so many blankets and towels and comfortable beds. Highly recommend this house.

The Paradise cottage was the perfect place for our Christmas vacation. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful Christmas decorations. Ken was a great host, very gracious, open and kind. The location was great, in the heart of Amish country, so quiet. The cottage was warm and cozy with lots of room for everyone to enjoy.

The owner is friendly and the house was beautiful and clean. It was nice staying in a log cabin.

Stayed with my husband’s family to celebrate my in law’s 50th wedding anniversary. Children on our trip ranged in ages from 2-16. The property had plenty of space to accommodate everyone and our kids were all entertained by the downstairs game room. I personally appreciated that all the stairs were fitted with built in gates as my 2 year old is very curious and rambunctious! The property is conveniently located near Shady Maple, the Strasburg Railroad, Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, and Casey Jones Restaurant. All great, family friendly attractions! Residence was very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!

We booked this log cabin for a wedding for a family of 10 people. We requested a noon check in and Mr. Kenneth was super accommodating. The cabin was very clean there were extra linens for indoors and outdoor seating on and for the bonfire. He thought of everything needed for a large group. There were toiletries shampoo conditioner already in the bathrooms and there were enough towels washcloths. There were enough dishes, cups, wine glasses and the kitchen area was super size and enough for our group. All the pics were exactly as advertised and the cabin when you walked in was cozy and warm. He even had a system where you can play cassette tapes, cd or radio. It was just so beautiful inside. Pretty much everything well prepared for us and also wood to have a fire. There is absolutely nothing that I would say that needed change. If you are coming to truly relax and explore Lancaster Amish Village this is a place you should stay. The only downfall was there is no wifi so if you are planning to do a work retreat that is not the place but it is amazing to sit outside on the porch and read a book, catch up on some rest, write in your journal do a fire take a hike. This is truly nestled in the woods and you get to appreciate the outdoor life. Thank you Mr. Kenneth we were happy with everything.

Stayed here to visit the Strasburg R.R. The house was beautiful clean and very family friendly. Beautiful neighborhood. Not too far from stores and food but just far enough to enjoy the country.

It was like living in Paradise

We recently stayed at Spring Acre log cabin. The pictures on the website didn’t do the place justice. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. My husband and I stayed with our adult children and their spouses and we had a wonderful time. Our host, Ken, was extremely accommodating and helpful. We would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful place and hope to visit here again ourselves.

We had a great stay. The area was beautiful and quiet and restful. The house was beautiful and clean and comfortable. The host was very easy to communicate with and was very helpful.

We loved our week at Spring acres. Seven family members came together from different locations. Ken was amazing to work with and quick to respond. We saw lots of horses & buggies and enjoyed a slower pace in this charming cabin. We did most of our cooking on site and bringing a few things assisted with that. Nice large refrigerator and second small one downstairs were perfect. Excellent stove top. We would come to this location again.
