Stayed Oct 14, 2025Our stay at Fernwood Villa was wonderful!! We were in the area for Noah at Sight and Sound and other things and this place lived up to the expectations and beyond. We loved everything about it from the quietness of the area to every detail that was thought of throughout the house to make our time there comfortable. Whatever you needed was there and more. The farm animals were fun to interact with and feed. We will be back!!

Stayed Oct 11, 2025This property is better than you can imagine! It’s spotless and very well equipped. Juliana has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable (including toys!) Bedrooms, baths and living areas are perfect! The on sight animals are an added bonus that my grandchildren loved! My grandsons couldn’t wait to go out in the morning to get fresh eggs from the hens! Well done Juliana, can’t wait to come back!

Stayed Nov 6, 2024We arrived to a simple check in. Code in door. The house was impeccable. I have never stayed somewhere as clean as this house was. We loved having the chickens, bunny and horse to visit throughout the day. Loved the fire pit and the property was beautiful. The beds were very comfortable as well. There was everything you need to cook at home in the kitchen too. I wouldn’t have changed a thing and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect trip. We will definitely be back.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Our family came all the way from Texas to celebrate our late son, Valor’s would-be 4th birthday. We had not had true together time- just us- in so long. We imagined our vacation in a place that would feel like “home” yet in a setting that helped us imagine what heaven will be like someday. The Fernwood villa turned out to be exactly this. Our 5 kids ages range from 4months to 15 years and we all had the most lovely time. The home was immaculate, spacious and filled with all the things our family needed to enjoy ourselves and be comfortable. From toys, to a crib, a fully equipped kitchen and grill. Every morning the kids collected eggs from the coop and tomatoes from the garden and we made a delicious healthy breakfast. Every evening we would enjoy a fire out back and roast s’mores. We truly fell in love with the place. It was like a slice of heaven after several hard years after loss. Our children especially grew fond of the ponies and went to pet and feed them multiple times throughout the day. The area itself was quiet and secluded, yet so close to fun family friendly things to do. My husband even took our 2 year old and walked all the way to michaels bread a local brewery 3 miles away while I was gone with the other kiddos grocery shopping. We ended up having our first family photos done since our last baby was born done while we were there. The land and home provided the perfect backdrop and made taking pictures easier since we didn’t have leave ‘home’. I will treasure these always. After taking photos we had our photographer friend, her husband and kiddos stay for awhile and we ate crab and had some wine on the back patio, laughed and imagined what life would be like if we moved our family from Texas to some land in this beautiful state of Pennsylvania. Our oldest son’s 9th birthday also landed on one of the days we were here and we loved taking him to the Speckled Hen right down the road and getting French toast and playing on their playground out back while enjoying a hot latte. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about the home. I feel like I could ramble for days telling in detail the story of our stay, and how it felt like a home away from home. Thank you for allowing us such an integral trip experience in the story Gods writing of our lives. We hope to come back someday, very, very soon.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We loved staying at your home! We enjoyed the fresh eggs in the morning from the chickens, how fabulously well stocked the house was, and the fire pit for s’mores. It was a great bonding trip for the five of us. The backyard is spectacular! We spent a day enjoying the Amish shops and restaurants. We went to Hersheypark for one day. We went to Longwood Gardens for another day. Great trip overall!
