Spectacular Sunsets, Private Setting:

This is a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property! It is in a great location, and we were able to visit parks and wineries on 3 of the finger lakes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the executive chef dinner prepared by Sharon.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house was clean, welcoming, and so well-stocked. The best rental we've ever had and there have been many. Glenn was incredibly helpful and communicative. Having wood outside for a fire, kayaks with paddles and gear, all of the amenities were top notch. 5 stars all around and we can't wait to come back!

Fantastic stay at Glenn and Lynn’s property. The house is stunning, the location on the lake was even better, and there were so many thoughtful touches in the home which made the time very special. The dock was terrific for sundowns and stargazing, we spent a few hours at the fire-pit every evening, saw a rainbow with our morning coffee on the deck, and even got to cheer on the Eagles (go Birds!) in the spacious family room. Every room has a lake view, and the beds were super comfortable. Glenn, our host was responsive and check in/check out was easy. Looking forward to returning soon!

We did a girls' trip with 9 ladies who went to high school together many years ago. This was the perfect house for our vacation. There were many places for all of us to hang out including the big living/kitchen area, the lower level fireplace room, firepit area and the beautiful deck!! The location was great with so many hikes, wineries and activities. We hiked at Buttermilk State Park and Watkin's Glen park and they were both beautiful, magical hikes. In addition, we hiked at Taughannock State Park, which was also special. Kayaking on Seneca Lake to Hector Falls with Seneca Lake Kayak was an amazing, peaceful adventure. Our last adventure, a Schooner ride with Sail True Love, was so much fun and something we will never forget!! One of the best things we did was to hire a private chef for the evening. Chef Audrey, Harvest to Hearth was so fabulous. So many locally sourced items and special treats that were personally made by Chef Audrey. We would highly recommend her for a special and delicious dinner. We loved everything the house and area had to offer. Our group would not hesitate to stay here again!! Glenn was easy to work with and so helpful.

Great house for our group of 10. Clean. Perfect location for hiking excursions and winery visits. Love the huge kitchen table, deck with an unbelievable view and the firepit and dock below. House/kitchen is well appointed and has a great layout for gathering. TV being on the lower level vs. the main level is a big plus.

We had an amazing week! The house was beautiful and more spacious than it appears in the pictures. Our kids loved jumping off the high deck into the water. Sunsets were another highlight. Highly recommend.

Very nice, house was beautiful & well stocked in all areas, including water sports equipment. We rented a boat from a very helpful rental company. Loved that there was a lot to do in surrounding area that were child friendly, especially as we had a couple of rain days. Most important was the time with family.

Amazing property! We had the most fantastic time with our family of twelve ranging in age from 1-63. Glenn and Lynn thought of everything. Check in was smooth. Everything was ready for us. The kayaks, paddleboards, dock and firepit were among our favorites. I highly recommend this beautiful property and these awesome hosts.

What a gorgeous lakefront home! The views were amazing. The kitchen was incredible and perfect for cooking meals and eating together enjoying the beautiful evenings on the deck. Glenn was so nice and great to work with. Thank you!

This house is beautiful and has every amenity you need for a comfortable stay. From the stocked kitchen essentials and really nice pottery to the towels (bath and beach). House was really clean upon arrival. Only issue we had was the A/C in the main area. Had a couple of really hot days and had trouble keeping up. Could have used a few umbrellas on the upper deck but we found one towards the end of the week and host also said he had one on order. The walk to the water is a lot of stairs but it is really well crafted and maintained. The dock area and boat lift was perfect for our boat we brought. The deck above the boat was a hit and the kids jumped off of it a few times. Paddle boards were a huge hit. Fire pit was perfect. Glenn was a great host. Promptly responded to any and all questions even before arrival. He came out to get one of the ceiling fans working and that helped a ton.

We thought the house was wonderful. It was well stocked with what we needed in the kitchen and water activities (life jackets, floats, kayaks, canoe, towels) and outdoor seating. The view from the main floor was amazing. The house was nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. It was a great location - private and serene. Special Thanks to Host Glenn!

We had a mix of adults and teenagers and everyone enjoyed the stay. The house was amazing - well-equipped and comfortable. The driveway and steps to the dock are steep but didn’t prove a problem for us. The basement, the deck, the fire pit, and the dock were all fun spots to hang out. So many good memories!

Gorgeous home, gorgeous location, very well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, peaceful decor. Owner is super responsive and was very prompt in responding to and fixing a shower issue. And has great recommendations for local activities. This is our third year in this house, and we have it on annual repeat!!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at this home during spring break. Its prime location near Watkins Glen, hiking trails, vineyards, and restaurants made it ideal for exploring. The house is beautifully designed, offering ample indoor and outdoor space for guests of all ages. Glenn, the host, was exceptional—responsive, helpful, and quick to answer our questions. The kitchen was well-equipped, the grill worked perfectly, and there was plenty of firewood for the fire pit. While the weather prevented us from using the kayaks, it didn’t detract from our enjoyment. Visiting in the off-season was delightful, and I can only imagine how incredible it would be in summer. Highly recommend this gem!

Beautiful waterfront property with spectacular views! Clean with lots of room.

Everything was just perfect!! I traveled to Spectacular Sunsets with 10 of my girlfriends for a weekend of wine tasting. This beautiful home provides everything you need for a comfortable getaway, stunning views, well provisioned kitchen for making meals, comfy beds, spacious bathrooms, and a great location!! We absolutely loved our stay! Communication with Glenn could not have been better - there is a reason he has an exceptional rating on VRBO - it is well deserved! Thank you for providing an amazing home, away from home!

This house was the perfect place for us to find some quiet and connect with friends. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had an amazing time! In addition to exploring the town and hiking, a highlight was getting to see a giant bald eagle who likes to sit in a pine tree out back. So serene. We will definitely be back!

Glenn and Lynn’s home is fabulous in every way! The photos in the listing as well as the description are 100% accurate! We are a group of 9 college friends who travel together once a year. This Watkin’s Glen retreat was perfect for our time in the Finger Lakes. Everything you need is provided. We particularly enjoyed are nightly use of the fire pit! We would all come back !

Wonderful home with great access to lake

We got to spend 1 week in this fabulous house with our 2 adult children, their spouses and their pups. The house could not have been more perfect and had everything we needed, including beach towels,. 2 SUP's, 2 Kayaks, life jackets of assorted sizes and lounge chairs on the dock. We rented a boat for the week so we could water ski and tube. The only advice I would give a future renter is to take your garbage to the dumpster at the top of the road every day or every other day. We waited until the end of the week and it was not pleasant for the guys by then. LOL! Glenn was responsive and pleasant. We even bought some pottery that his wife makes and is throughout the house. Great week!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed in this home with a large group of people from 10 months old through adults in their 40s and every age between. We had a fantastic time, spending hours every day on the dock and in the lake, visiting local wineries, hiking, cooking, and playing games. The kids’ bedroom is perfect, and we never felt cramped in the space. We can’t wait to come back next year!

This is our second time staying at this beautiful lake house ! This house is very well equipped to make your stay enjoyable! There are paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. Great fire pit area with plenty of chairs! My grandchildren ranging from age 1-10 had a great time! Our host Glenn was great and responds to any questions or concerns immediately !
