Spectacular Island Beach House

The host was amazing and I've stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals and this was the only house that made me feel like my own home.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday stay at this house! The house is as described, lots of space for everyone, well-equipped kitchen, great location and great views. The host was very responsive to our questions and gave us some appreciated pointers on the area. We hope to return!

This house is made very special by the many cozy seating areas, which became the perfect antidote to the blustery weather outside. The space naturally encourages conversation, games, and real family connection. We loved our stay and hope to visit in the summer, thank you!

The house is spacious and well equipped. The public beach is directly across the street and is ideal for seashell collecting or watching the waves. The location is also easy to get on and off the main highway to Newport.

We were two older couples looking for quiet and evocative New England accommodations. This place was just right. We spent evenings on the front porch looking out on the water while enjoying a cocktail and each other’s company. Alyssa was a very responsive, yet discreet host.

Despite the cold wet weather, we all enjoyed our stay at this property. The one problem we encountered was the water pressure. Impossible to shower, run dish washer or washing machine at the same time.The water pressure in the master bath was especially bad.

Wonderful time with family. Great location with easy access to Newport. We’d love to return.

Great spot for a weekend with the girls. Enjoyed the Jamestown restaurants; beautiful sunset from the second floor deck; and a cool, fall afternoon for sitting around the firepit!

Family from the local RI area, MA and MD assembled here for a long weekend to celebrate 2 birthdays and attend the Salve Regina football season opener to cheer on a very special player. The home is amazing with so many spaces both in and outside to congregate or just to find a quiet space. It is comfortable, spacious and you will find just about anything you may need. The hosts are available if needed but otherwise invisible during your stay. We found the location perfect for us. Jamestown is serene, beautiful and of course the views are spectacular. It’s away from all the crowds and traffic of Newport but just a short drive over the beautiful and scenic bridge. I highly recommend this rental and would definitely return in the future.

Our stay in Jamestown was made so wonderful because we were staying in the best house ever! This is a clean and comfortable home in a peaceful neighborhood. The greatest part is the location! We had amazing sunset views and were steps from a private beach. Alyssa was communicative and helpful with both details on the house and tips for food and activities in town. Thank you Alyssa!

We had the pleasure of staying at Alyssa’s property for a week. Six adults and a toddler. House was beautiful and right on the water. Absolutely beautiful views and sunsets. The house had everything one would need for a beach vacation. Would definitely recommend packing water shoes because the beach does have a ton of shells. My daughter had a blast collecting them throughout the week! The house is in a great location. Short drive into downtown Newport and close drive to the ocean beaches. Alyssa was also wonderful and answered all our questions. Highly recommend!

Our multi-generational family had a wonderful 2 weeks in Alyssa’s property. The property is attractive and across the street from the beach! The house was especially nice for our group b/c there were multiple areas for relaxation—such as the living room, a den and a seating area in the primary bedroom. We also loved the second floor deck facing the ocean, the fire pit and the fenced back yard perfect for our dogs. Alyssa was easy to communicate with and very helpful during our stay. The check in process was quick and easy. We hope to stay there again!

We had an amazing time staying at this rental. We were pleasantly surprised with how stocked the kitchen was with everything required to prepare meals for 12 people all weekend long. We also loved the flow and seating arrangement for eating...some inside and some out on patio....back door open for conversation. The front yard also amazing with plenty of seating for watching the sunset and with the beach right across the street and the very quiet neighborhood, there was plenty of areas to safely go for walks. We loved our stay here and would definitely consider this rental again! It was amazing.

The location of the home is outstanding, with views of the bay from both floors. The home was clean, perfectly appointed, handsomely decorated, and quite roomy. With balconies on the upper floor and a nice porch on the first floor, guests have perfect views of the water. The home is also located in a delightful neighborhood of active residents and affords convenient access to numerous sights and sites on Jamestown, Newport and Narragansett. We so enjoyed our stay! Finally, let me say that Alyssa was so gracious and responsive to our every question. Really a great experience!

NICE location. Perfect for our family on the West Coast visiting the East Coast for our son’s wedding in Newport. We loved the quaintness of Jamestown. Would definitely book again. Yorba Linda, CA Family
