Spacious Private Retreat with Mountain Views

We loved the location. Very convenient in a really nice neighborhood. The views of the mountains are amazing. The master bedroom is well designed and a real retreat. Personally I loved the games room. Enjoyed many games on the pool table (even though I lost). We also appreciated that the pool heating was included in the price. We had some things that needed attention during our stay, but everything was handled very promptly.

Well set up house for a comfortable stay for up to three couples and a few kids. Good neighborhood for walking and close access to hiking trails, parks and shopping.

The Biskra House in Magnesia Falls Cove was everything we had hoped for. We just spent two months in this fabulous home and have already booked for next year. The house is located in a quiet, beautiful and safe residential neighbourhood within walking distance to The River with movie theatres, restaurants and shopping. At each end of the street there are walking trails at the base of the mountains where we enjoyed walking our little dog. The views of the mountains are spectacular from the house. Beth was an exceptional owner/property manager responding to our questions and issues immediately. She was wonderful to deal with ensuring that our holiday was perfect. The house is spacious with three bedrooms and three bathrooms in the main house plus a separate casita with another king bed, bathroom and kitchen. The bedrooms are located in such a way that everyone had privacy. The beds are extremely comfortable and the bedding is luxurious. The large bathrooms are equipped with lovely amenities such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand lotion, etc. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything required to have either a casual meal by the pool or a large gourmet dinner. Beth has thought of everything. The decor in the home is stunning with beautiful artwork and colours. I read several books from her library and the family enjoyed the games in the games room. But the highlight for us was the back yard. It is fabulous with several seating areas, lounge chairs, and a gorgeous heated pool and spa which were a hit with our kids and grandkids. It is very private and fenced. I loved having my morning coffee in the sun by the pool. We also had several meals at the dining table in the back yard conveniently located next to the casita kitchen and propane grill. We have been staying in Rancho Mirage for about 8 years now but The Biskra House is the best property we have ever stayed at. We are grateful to Beth for sharing her gorgeous desert home with us and making us feel so welcome. The welcome basket with snacks, champagne and wine was very thoughtful and appreciated. We can’t wait to return next year.

We would stay in the Biskra house again in a heartbeat. The location could not have been better. It's walking distance to shops and many restaurants but if you want to cook at home the kitchen is fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and the outdoor area patio and pool are perfection.

The house was well laid out with everything clearly marked .it was fabulous layout and accommodated 8 people comfortably. The bedrooms were perfectly separate to allow privacy for everyone. The location was great, walking distance to some of the stores and close to hiking and golf. We really enjoyed the place and hope to return next year. Thanks again Beth and Carol

The Biskra House (Magnesia Falls Cove) is absolutely beautiful! The house felt welcoming and clean from the moment we arrived. Beth sent an email before we arrived with plenty of details about the house which helped us prepare and pack accordingly. The house is spacious, nicely decorated, and the beds and furniture are very comfortable. The kitchen is generously stocked with gadgets and great appliances. The separate casita is the perfect little “apartment” for an older teen or another couple. The house managers, Carol and Jeff, are great communicators. They quickly responded to our texts and questions. The house is in a great location in Rancho Mirage. The neighborhood is quiet, and the house is conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. There was so much to do when we weren’t relaxing at the house, hanging out in the game room, or lounging in the pool. We had a great time and we hope to be back to stay at the Biskra House again next summer. One month was not long enough!

Very nice property in a good location.

Wow - this house completely lived up to all the wonderful reviews. Communication prior was prompt and friendly and the owner provided a wealth of pre trip information! Check in was easy and the house was immaculate. All the rooms was stylishly decorated and very comfortable. We really appreciated that each night stand had charging ports with plus and USB outlets. Kitchen was very well equipped and all the cabinets and drawers had labels so you didn't have to randomly open them to find things. The pools and spa were much appreciated and the lounging area was well used. The weather was pleasant enough to enjoy a meal or two outside. The pillows, linens and towels were all high quality. Our only complaint was that we did not book enough days! We would definitely stay here again!

This house was a perfect getaway for our family and friends to get some down time away from it all. The location is very convenient, the pool is perfect for a quick cool down and the game room is a very nice bonus. I would stay here again!
