Driftwood, Pennsylvania
You can do it all here...or you can do nothing at all.
Take part in world class trout fishing, ogle PA's native elk population up close, mud it up on the nearby ATV trails, hop in your 'yaks for a refreshing trip down the Sinnemahoning Creek, trek for miles on the endless scenic trails interconnected through the mountains or...settle in on a cozy rocking chair with a refreshing beverage and experience PA's breathtaking beauty right from your porch.
Bull Hollow is nestled within the town of Driftwood, PA - centrally located in the PA Wilds along the famous Bucktail Highway, just a few minutes from Benezette - the Elk capital of the northeastern US, and Stevenson Dam at Sinnemahoning State Park - known for its 145-acre lake and its large bald eagle population.
With the magnificent Driftwood Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek calling out to you just mere feet from the front porch, you'll be hard pressed to find a reason not to take a trip downstream (River tubes and five kayaks w/ paddles are available for your enjoyment.)
All the amenities pictured are available for use. Grill out under the large, covered patio, sip your morning coffee from the porch, challenge your loved ones to a fun game of foosball or cornhole. Lounge the night away in a comfy Adirondack chair by a warm campfire. Stargaze under some of the darkest skies in the eastern United States...or cuddle up with the family and loved ones in the great room for a movie on the 70-inch HD TV.
All towels and linens are provided. A washer & dryer are available during your stay for your convenience.
Though most prefer to unplug and relax, high speed internet/Wi-Fi is available to all Bull Hollow guests.
As you are deeply immersed and surrounded by PA's wild and wondrous beauty, cellular coverage may be spotty depending on your provider.
Parking is plentiful and free during your stay, of course. A word of advice, though, to guests - park along the bushes to the side of the house to avoid blocking your water view.
Though the home is equipped with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers on each floor and a first aid kit, the nearest hospital, located in Emporium, is nearly a 30-minute drive. Furthermore, the closest grocery store is also located in Emporium, so plan your meals accordingly.
Please note that there are NO bathrooms or bedrooms located on the ground floor of the home. All guests must be able to maneuver and climb stairs to access both amenities.
The house is a older house and would be hard for older people since there is no bedroom or bathroom on the 1st floor. The house was very clean and well stocked with the essentials. The beds were very comfortable. We had a great time using the house as home base for our elk viewing trip.
Plain and simple, liked location. Now that we learned somethings would stay in this area again, even this property. Didn't know if we needed to clean up more. Thanks for listening or house.
The house was exactly like the pictures it was clean and the entry process was also easy just minor cobwebs here and there the neighbors were very friendly
There was plenty of room for the 7 of us. With the creek right across the street the location was great. The neighbors were very nice and friendly. The fire ring would have been nice but it was full of weeds and stuff cut off the bank and the firewood was so large and nothing to split it was available. The kitchen floor and the 3rd floor commode should have been cleaned better. Over all we had a good time. Thank you Ray and Pat
