I have never stayed in an RV before and I was worried that you had to have special knowledge about how to use it. Just as the host described. It’s like staying in a house. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed in, the property was gorgeous, and the hosts had every single tiny detail thought out. I was honestly blown away. My family wanted to stay longer. This is an exceptional place ans the hosts went above and beyond. They even had everything ready and let us check in early.
This place was amazing. The brook right beside the fire pit was so relaxing. So secluded with nothing but forest around. Very clean inside. Host was awesome. The only suggestion for people renting is. The pull out beds are not good for adults, just bring a blow up mattress because the place is worth it.
A little piece of heaven on earth. Off the beaten path but has the best of everything. Elk along driveway, deer in the yard and even a babbling brook to listen to while you enjoy a fire. Excellent dining just down the road at Driftwood Saloon and Grill. Look forward to booking again.
Easy to get to. Great instructions.
Great property! Secluded and private. Abie was so friendly and quick to get back to me. Loved the fire pit and having the grill and griddle options. Fireplace was great since it was drizzly and chilly during our stay. Driftwood Saloon just down the road was recommended by owners to eat at. Great food and service! Hicks Run elk viewing area didn't disappoint and only 6 miles away. Very clean. Excellent check in process. Had a great birthday weekend getaway! Will definitely return.
Loved this place so quiet and comfortable. The owner was very nice and very accommodating. No problems here would go back again.
Best place ive stayed at
We absolutely loved it here! It was incredibly peaceful and secluded. There were plenty signs of wildlife. The camper was very well stocked and clean. We would definitely stay here again!
Seeing the beauty and peacefulness of the world as it should be.
Beautiful setting and the entire property was perfect inside and out! Great location for exploring the surrounding areas. Sitting at the campfire was very relaxing in the evenings before bed. The camper is spotless and is stocked with everything you need. Bed was extremely comfortable. Owners are very nice and get back to you immediately. Would love to go back and highly recommend their place in the hollow!
We had a great time at this camper in driftwood! Perfect place to stay for kayaking! Owners were so friendly and answered quickly. The property was beautiful and clean. Plenty of amenities! Great deck and fully stocked kitchen.
Our family enjoys the outdoors and nature; so this was a perfect fit for us! Plenty of space for the kids to set up tents and roam around. We spent a lot of time around the campfire and the pavilion was a perfect kitchen. Host's were very accommodating and the place was clean and well kept. Thank you for a great experience!
The camper was very clean and well-stocked. The location could not be more beautiful--it is very secluded, the stream that runs through is perfect, and the pavilion and fire pit make for the perfect hangout spot. We do not have ATT for cell phones, so we were wonderfully disconnected while there! That said, it was comforting to know there was an ATT phone on site that we could use if we had to, and the Dish network TV came in handy for tracking the weather on the weather channel when necessary. There were cute unexpected touches like the little fairy lights on some of the trees which was fun. Abie could teach a master class on hosting vacation rentals! She is prompt in her communication and very helpful. And so thorough on making sure every detail is perfect. We brought our side-by-side and rode to most places right from the camp site. We saw too many deer to count, and lots of elk including very large bull elk. Heard coyotes one night but didn't see them. And the family of trout in the stream made me so happy. The only unexpected detail was not being able to flush toilet paper. This was our very first camper stay, so we really weren't familiar at all, but we quickly devised a process and it wasn't a deal breaker or anything. Just something to note. Overall, a five-star experience, hands down. I already miss being up the holler, disconnected from technology, and fully connected with nature!
My dad and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This property is beautiful and secluded as well, but close enough to civilization should you need to pick supplies up in Emprium which isn’t too far away. The camper was extremely clean. We were lucky enough to see 4 bull Elk. I would highly recommend staying here, because I know I will again.
This place was perfect inside and out! We will definitely return. The host was very accommodating.
