Lovely space and very cozy accommodations. Wi-Fi wasn’t working the day I arrived but the owners worked with me to find workaround. Would gladly stay here again.

Everything was perfect from fire in the pit in the evening to waking up to mama deer and 2 babies in yard in the morning

Great weekend getaway

Great property, easy to find. Amazingly large rooms! Even though it's half of a duplex, you would never know the other person is there. We never heard any sound from the other unit, and they were home. We enjoyed waking up to see deer and foxes outside. We also enjoyed the fire pit and provided firewood. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was very nice! Kitchen was stocked enough. Check in was very easy. It was beautiful views and scenery. We saw plenty of deer which was nice but elk were iffy. Just before dark we THINK 2 elk walked through but just not sure because of the distance and lack of light. The queen mattress was very soft-maybe tooo soft. We watched the hummingbirds and spotted some bluebirds and bunnies. Our stay was very nice and private and secure. May do this again! Thank you!

We had an unforgettable stay at this peaceful Driftwood retreat! The house was clean, cozy, and perfectly located — just a short drive to Sinnemahoning State Park and minutes from great fly fishing spots. The weather was beautiful, and the views from the property were absolutely stunning.Everything was just as described, with comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and thoughtful touches throughout. It was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the water. Would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Whitetail Cottage at Misty Pines! It was incredibly clean and cozy, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Evelyn, the host, was super helpful, offering fantastic suggestions of things to do in the area.One of the highlights was the cottage's surroundings: it's nestled among beautiful mountain views and fields of wildflowers, which attracted deer at dawn and dusk – a truly magical sight! The location was also convenient for our plans, about a 35-minute drive from the Sinnemahoning Wildlife Center. We highly recommend the Whitetail Cottage for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway!

This was the perfect place to stay for a fishing trip. Local streams were amazing. Fished for 3 days and really enjoyed the area. Would definitely come back again.

Beautiful location, very peaceful, clean, and had deer in the yard the second morning. Host was helpful and suggested local activities to check out during our stay.

We came to visit the PA Wilds and see the elk. While elk viewing did not happen, the night sky was beautiful. The cabin was quaint and we found it very cozy. If we ever come back to try seeing the elk again, we will stay at Misty Pines.

Very clean, knowledgeable and friendly hosts. Centralized location to elk viewing, hiking and towns. Great for a small family adventure trip or a secluded relaxing getaway.

The property is so super quiet, exceptionally clean and we got to see some wildlife on the property. The view on a clear evening is amazing. The owners are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Can't wait to revisit.

This little cabin was absolutely immaculate when we got there. The owner was excellent at communicating with us. We loved seeing the stars one night and the mist coming over the hills another night.
