Great stay

I think this was our 5th trip to Carpenteria. We live in the Bay Area but one of my daughters and husband live in LA. We are making it a tradition the celebrated Easter there and this was one of the nicest places we’ve rented. It has everything we are looking for; especially access to Santa Claus Beach. Very dog friendly, spacious, well kept. What’s not to like. The next time we head to Carpenteria this will definitely be our first choice to return to. Thank you very much for making our stay easy and enjoyable.

Wonderful house to stay in! Great layout, well stocked, and nice beds. Only 10 minutes from Santa Barbara and super convenient to everything in the area.

Everything was great. The house was exactly what we needed to have a good week in the area. We used the BBQ every night, it was a good stay.

It was lovely having a place large enough for 3 adults and 3 children. The beaches were great; we enjoyed the area very much. The house overall was in great shape, the combination door lock was very challenging for my sons and me; made it a frustrating entry each time.... might be time for a new lock system? Otherwise, it was perfect for our gathering place. Thank you!

Everything was easy and setup for our stay. Good Location and had everything we needed.

Spacious and clean within easy reach of Carpinteria and a short drive to downtown Santa Barbara. The addition of a car charger for the EV was icing on the cake.

Overall great home! Surprisingly very accessible to Santa Barbara and cozy.

The house is near the coast, so does not have air conditioning. This means you need to keep the windows open to cool the house down during the warmer months. Unfortunately that also means opening the house to the freeway noise and pot smokers next door. The house directly backs up to the freeway and it was so loud we barely got any sleep. I guess that might be ok if you plan to nap on the beach during the day.

Golf getaway had three buddies with me so having four rooms and four bathrooms was fine overall everything was good little weak on the kitchen utensils and such but other than that great stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Toro Canyon home very much. It was conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit. The home was furnished nicely and it was very clean.

Love that it was easy to get online , the house was perfect for 7 adults, each of the bedrooms had its own bathroom. Had plenty of towels and linen. Was only there for 2 nights, very lovely home. I would recommend it for any family with pets. I would definitely stay again.

Place was as described. Plenty of room for my family and close to our daughter at Westmont. Space and amenities were convenient. Property next to freeway and busy road. But sound machine in the bedrooms drown out the noise. Didn’t bother us.

Easy check in, the place had just been cleaned, great setup - each bedroom has its own bathroom en suite. Big plus !! Only complaint is freeway noise, not too bad but noise just the same. Overall great place for our family

House was clean and had a great kitchen and large family table/dining room for Thanksgiving meal. Yard was large enough for the dog to stretch his legs. Bedrooms were large and each had own bathroom, so that was nice with 2 teens. Some road noise was the only thing I’d say was a”negative“ and with a white noise machine we barely noticed at night.

Place was clean and pictures represented the home accurately. Plenty of space for our group of 8. Property managers were responsive and check in and out was easy. Night time noise from the street was rather loud and the bedrooms did not have sound machines or tvs to drown it out. TVs in bedrooms would be a nice addition for visitors who would like to decompress in their rooms. Even with this, we would recommend and would stay here again!

The hosts were very nice and accomodating. Staying in Carpenteria was a perfect location. Walking to the beach is not practical but it's only less than a five minute drive to Loon Point. We all appreciated having our own bedrooms and each having our own bathroom too. The layout of the house worked well and were comfortable relaxing in the home. All amenities were thoughtfully provided. The background noise of the 101 freeway took getting used to but does not outweigh the benefits of this lovely home.

This house was perfect for my family of 4 adults and 2 kids. The location was perfect for all of our activities. BBQ worked great for us although the traffic noise prevented us from enjoying eating outside. Having a private bath in each bedroom was an added bonus as well as the use of all beach toys. Being able to park one of our cars in the garage was an unexpected perk.

This is a big house and nicely furnished. It backs up to the freeway so there is a bit of noise if you’re in the backyard. It was a wonderful getaway and we enjoyed our stay!

Property was clean, and having a bathroom for each bedroom was fantastic! Plenty of room for everybody to hang out. Beautiful yard, Home was a little dated but still really comfortable. We needed a repair and the owner came right over and fixed it.

The house was exactly what we needed for our weekend stay. It was close to the wedding venue. Easy access to freeway. What caught my interest was it “walking distance to beaches”. That’s true if you’re a young person who likes to walk a ways. I thought it was literally down the street but you have to cross over a freeway. I gave 4 stars because it is not suitable for light sleepers as it is between a busy street and freeway. Otherwise no complaints.
