Carpinteria Beach Front Bungalow

The host was very responsive and friendly. The house was lovely and we couldn't believe how close the ocean we were! Within walking distance to shops and restaurants, with plenty to do around town. It was a great vacation and we look forward to booking another stay in the Beach Bungalow!

Sweetest space right on the sand. The host had great communication, house was clean and most perfect location in downtown carpenteria. I stayed with my best friends and sisters for my bachelorette weekend and it was ideal. We walked to the train station down the street and went to Santa Barbara for an evening, but were able to relax on the beach in Carp during the days. Would definitely stay again.

Step into this cottage directly from the sand and you'll feel like you entered another era, but one with great sheets, new towels, and all the kitchen amenities you need. Samantha thought of everything in balancing maintaining the character, but making it comfortably modern, and was a helpful and responsive host when I had a question. It's charming in the best possible way and the location on the beach is unbeatable.

We really enjoyed staying at the bungalow. It is very nicely appointed. Extra towels, etc. The kitchen is very well supplied with dishes, pots and pans, appliances, and spices. We had a little trouble with the key getting in, and the garbage disposal backed up, but both problems were quickly solved.

Wonderful cottage right on the beach. Couldn’t have been easier. Cannot wait to return!

Great place when you have one boy and one girl teenagers. They each had their own room to retreat to for privacy. Open the front bedroom window a bit to listen to the gentle wave sounds all night long. Private front porch to drink coffee and watch dolphins frolicking every morning. Yummy meals a short walk away. Pick up volleyball games at the end of Linden. Our second time here and the whole family is happy.

My best girls and I had an incredible time at this property! The location right on the beach is unmatched and it was an adorable space for the 8 of us to stay. It is so cute and had most everything we needed! A couple notes: It was quite dusty/dirty. I think it’s been a while since some surfaces were cleaned. We expected it to be sandy since you can’t really avoid that on the beach but a lot of us had allergies act up while sleeping. The listing says there’s a queen bed when really it’s at largest a full. It’s difficult to sleep 2 people to this bed so one of us was on the couch. This was OK just not what was listed.
