Spacious Mount Pleasant Home: 5 Mi to Beach

When reservation first made, hoped there would be 5 of us. Ended up with only 3, but we each had our privacy and a large dining room table to hang out at. Location of house was perfect, not just to beach but to Visitors' hub in downtown Charleston. Should have stayed longer.

It was clean for the most part….aside from the men’s underwear that we found in the upstairs bedroom. The internet only worked on day 1.

The property was clean and we were looking forward to the room we were going to have. Unfortunately ,we had a heating problem in the largest part of the house and were uncomfortable eating any meals, using the kitchen and showering. The temp for our entire stay in the largest area of the house was between 55 and 64 degrees due to a furnance that they could not fix. Fortunately, we could get under the covers during the night to stay warm. When we got up to put our clothes on, they also were cold due to them just being in the room. I gave myself a sink washing to start out the day and as I washed, had to put my pajamas back on for warmth and then wash the bottom of my body and put the rest of my cloths on. I owned a home in Floriada for 39 years and rented it out myself. I never had anything happen like this. It was a must to inspect the heating and air every year to make sure nothing l ike this happened. I am sorry that I cannot give this home a good review. I have a picture of the 55 degrees on the thermastate. We paid extra for the room and could not use the largest part of the home. .

We're friends from grade and high school in PA who now live elsewhere and don't get together too often. We're so happy that we got together in Charleston area and loved the house. It's location was perfect for seeing Mt Pleasant, the beaches and getting to Charleston Visitors' Center. We loved the amenities in the house, and we wished it was warmer weather to sit out back.

Overall experience was very positive. Only negative was the closeness of the road in front of the house. It is a busy street and pictures don't reflect how close it really is. House was very clean and well kept. Upstairs bedrooms were comfortable and there really wasn't any road noise in the house. The house does actually have wifi although some of the paperwork said it doesn't. About 1/2 hour from the airport, 20 min to downtown or the coast, so convenient to restaurants

This property was perfect for our large group of 9. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area.

This house was in a wonderful location! My family was in town for a Charleston wedding. It’s close to Charleston with lots of restaurants in the neighborhood too. Would definitely stay here again.

Did not meet expectations. There were bed bugs in one of the rooms, which is unacceptable and we had to make alternate sleeping arrangements for 2 adults ( one on a futon and one a small couch). This problem was discussed with evolve and messages were sent to the owner with no reply to us ( the renters). The owner did have an exterminator come, however that does not compensate us for the inconvenience. Also, this was the dirtiest house we have stayed at, cobwebs, dusty baseboards, dead bugs in the light fixtures and we were afraid to use the washer due to the rusty lid. This house was convenient to find and close to the places we visited which were the only positive aspects to our stay. We were very disappointed that the host did not respond to our text messages.

Very accommodating for two families

The home was large enough for our entire party. And the location is good and close to everything that we needed. We were there for a weekend long wedding. The house needs some updates and some repairs. We noticed the garage door is broken and could be a safety hazard. The upstairs bathroom has no electricity and made it very difficult for a group of eight people to get ready. We had to use mirrors from other areas of the house And move them to an electrical outlet in order to be able to blow dry hair use curling irons, etc..

Excellant location! Very Spacious! Very nice house! It's now on everyone's favorite list! Will definitely try to book again if ever needed! Only downfall was we had to go home! :)

The only challenge we had was with the AC upstairs. It was miserable at first but we opened windows and turned on all ceiling fans. For visiting, cooking, and attending multiple locations it couldn’t be beat. Will be back.

This was a great home for my family to stay during Thanksgiving. The location was perfect. The house was ample and could sleep quite a few. We will look to book this again in the future.

Nice stay

This house was perfect for all of our family to stay for Parents weekend. Close to the campus. Everything we needed nearby. House was roomy, clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend

We had a great stay. House was very nice. Plenty of sleeping space and all beds were comfy! Convenient location to Charleston Market, King St, Sullivan’s Island and Shem Creek. One thing that would be helpful for future guest is to provide beach chairs. When flying you don’t have room for them and unable to rent at beach. Was a great long weekend!

The house was adequate but there seemed to be a musty or moldy smell to the place. We had several people who had runny noses inside but were fine when they were outside or at other places. It would be nice to have a mirror in the master and we didn’t find power in the upstairs bathroom.
