Spacious Maine Retreat near Sunday River with Hot Tub, Fire Pit & Pet-Friendly!

Roomy, comfortable, great location

Everything went well and the house was very comfortable with super convenience to the mountain and restaurants all within minutes.

The house was great for our 2 families. George was excellent with communication.

Great property

Overall my husband, friends, and I had a fun weekend staying together at this home. We really enjoyed the large kitchen/living area, the hot tub, and fire pit. We were going to have 10 people total, but a couple had to back out. 8 of us had plenty of space in this home. Although the listing makes it seem like there is easy access to the river on site, we had a hard time figuring out where the river was. My husband and I made our way through some not well groomed trails to finally find a main trail that eventually lead to the river. Perhaps the trails are more maintained in the winter? While there are many rooms to sleep plenty of people, one of the rooms is windowless and therefore without a window ac unit, so if you come in the summer, that middle room upstairs is stuffy. The home was well stocked with most essentials in the kitchen and towels for all which was great. I loved that there were plenty of bathrooms too. However, be sure to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap for the showers. This property is dog-friendly (a big perk for us). There was plenty of space for them inside and outside, but you do need to keep them on leash outside as the house is pretty close to the road and there isn't a closed off area of the yard.Lastly, we did have an issue with the power cutting off in part of the house, but thankfully there was an electrician friend of the hosts staying in the little apartment attached to the house. He was able to fix the issue for us.

Everything was absolutely great with our stay. The house was perfect for our annual trip to play at Sunday River Golf Club.

We had 4 generations in town for the annual competition at Sunday river, the house was lovely, large, yet open. It is not on the main drag so little traffic noise, 3 minutes from the lodge but still feels like in the country.As I am new to VRBO I did not know what to expect, I would recommend this home to anyone.

The home itself was nice, however, there was warm weather and the AC didn’t work downstairs and there is no AC upstairs nor any screens in windows to open them. Also there were huge black ants inside the home everywhere I turned and the hot tub was unusable. Very cute home, and could feel the love but disappointed in the quality for almost 1k for a two night stay.

Great stay, hot tub was great after a day of skiing.

This was a perfect house to share time away with family or friends. It is very comfortable and spacious giving all guests their own space. At the same time the house is cozy and has room for everyone to be together for meals and relaxing! It's very close to the mountain and convenient for skiing. We will definitely come back!

Plenty of room and excellent location

Absolutely loved our stay and the pictures don’t do it justice! 4 min from main entrance to Sunday River. Owners were very responsive and helpful. We arrived on Christmas and there was even a tree - lovely touch! Perfect for our large family and highly recommend!
