Checking in was a nightmare. We stood outside in the cold for over a hour trying to get in. They kept giving us codes for the door or lock box that didn’t work. There was a huge sheet of ice hanging over the hot tub. It looked extremely dangerous. I sent them a message and did not get any response. In the photos on VRBO you can see there used to be a roof above the hot tub. I worded if it was destroyed by the falling ice! Also, the first thing you are greeted with when you walk in is a bunch of electrical wires stapled to the ceiling. I am surprised this place is still allowed to operate.

Upon arrival, we had trouble getting into the home, but that was quickly resolved, much appreciated. Once in, we continued to hear a loud beep coming from the main floor fire alarm. I notified the host who right away and they said someone would come out and fix the issue. I then discovered that there was not a bunk room that contained the video games as shown in the photos. I relayed that to the host, they said they would check into that and get back to us but after repeated requests I still never received an answer. This was very disappointing as we specifically rented this home, paying much more for this home than others in the area, partially due to that feature. We had shared pictures with our grandchildren, and they were very excited so when they showed up and there were no video games, they were disappointed. Also, there was a pool table but there was only one pool stick with no tip so the pool table was not playable either. No one showed up to fix the alarm, my husband disconnected it so we didn’t have to listen to the beep, but then we didn’t have a working fire alarm with 15 people in the house. Lightbulbs were out in the dining room, told hosts but no help was sent so we had to move lamps in there to eat in the evening. The home was only surface cleaned and the refrigerator, freezer, and inside the drawers and cupboards were dirty. The home had ample space and a great location, but for more than 2000 a night, did not meet our expectations.

This house was quite big and really held our whole crew quite comfortably. It was close to hikes and the kitchen was well equipped, so it was easy to make all of our meals at home. We were super happy with the stay.

All facilities were excellent - kitchen, bath, bedroom, game room. All great. Hot tub is adjacent to the main street, so not quite as private, but otherwise, everything was great.

Wow, what a perfect house for our group! Teens hung out in the game room, plenty of space and sleeping options, well appointed kitchen. Great WiFi, so much fun in the hot tub, 2 full sets of washer/dryer. Overall, wonderful stay. Can’t wait to come back!

This property worked great for our large group of 15. Great bunk room downstairs for the kids and plenty of rooms and privacy for adults. Nothing fancy, but ticks all the boxes. Great location. Parking can be tricky, but doable.

The house was roomy. Very family friendly. We appreciate the child gates to make the stairways safer for our toddler. Close to town within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked.

We all loved the house, excellent space to visit with each other and have some space to read and be cozy. Could have used some paper towels and hot tub shock. Other than that we could not have been happier! We will be back next winter for sure! And bring our own paper towels haha!
