House, forest, and creek were great. Very relaxing. Would stay there again. Road through campground was a headache, but probably difficult to maintain.Neighbor building house was noisy, but tolerable. Wildlife was very enjoyable. House had everything.

Really nice location near Timberline Lodge, Trilium Lake, the the Skibowl. Road is a little bumpy getting in. The house was well appointed. We enjoyed having a fire and the babbling creek.

VERY clean! The cabin appears to have been remodeled (painted, somewhat recent appliances, etc.) fairly recently. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen had just about anything you would need to prepare meals and had many of the spices, etc. needed for cooking. Was pleased to see detailed instructions on how to operate the wood stove (in addition to the heater) and other instructions for the cabin. There was also a binder that had local restaurants, rental locations, points of interest, and other instructions for the cabin. Fire pit outside and plenty of fire wood.Quiet neighborhood. Minutes away from Government Camp and Trillium Lake. Very close to the ski resorts.

Leave the windows open to hear the nearby creek and smell the mountain air. We spent our time at the adventure park, alpine slides, and Timberline Lodge. Sooooo many beds here!

Well maintained and clean. Located in a beautifully forested area near Government Camp (and amenities, store, and restaurants). Easily slept two kids and four adults. Loved that we could bring our dog!

This was perfect for our family trip. We hiked around the area and used it as a base for exploring Mt Hood and the gorge.

Tldr: great house, sooo many beds. Great location, right at the bottom of Timberline, takes only 10-15 minutes to drive up to Timberline. Comfy beds, great water pressure. Stocked kitchen. Longer version: Communication prior to the day of checkin seemed fine, but we started our trip on a really hot Saturday where it was 90 degrees. I was told to check in at the office prior to 5pm, and we got there at about 3pm. No one was there. Called the number provided, but no one could get ahold of the person who was supposed to be there. And after about 20-30 minutes finally got ahold of someone who then gave me a combo to a small mailbox type locker to get a key. This seems like something that I could have been told the combo over email and not had to wait for 20+ minutes with 3 other ppl and two dogs in the car on a 90 deg day, with the car idling and trying to keep everyone cool. Engine ended up overheating, had to get towed. Switched cars, drove back up. When we get to the house the code they gave me didnt work, but they were able to change it remotely. The first night there was a wasp found on the floor, and a few spiders. But nothing else the rest of the trip. Beds were comfy and clean, and plentiful, water pressure is great but the well water was yellowish, so that was kind of weird. Great location for snowboarding, and we went to Maupin for whitewater rafting. We were going to hike but saw cougar prints in the snow. Would stay here again, just had some really bad luck.

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin, which is perfectly situated to be easy to access but to feel like you're worlds away from it all. It has easy access to Government Camp and surrounding areas for provisions, dining out, and sightseeing, while also feeling like you are somewhere totally remote in a peaceful, beautiful setting nearby natural beauty of trails, the lake, and the property around the cabin itself. The cabin is really large and well-appointed, with lots of thoughtful touches. The large picture windows surrounded by the forest almost makes it feel like you are in a tree house, and the sounds of the creek are so serene and peaceful. We are already planning our next visit!
