Stayed Dec 25, 2025We had a great stay! Our whole family (11 people, including 3 small kids) spent the Christmas holiday at this property and had a great time. The house was clean, very spacious, and the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware, dishes, and cutlery. The home has direct access to the beach, which was amazing. The patios also provided a gorgeous view of the beach. The game room is a nice addition, but beware of exposed sharp and rusty nails in the walls - this was probably our biggest complaint because it was dangerous for the kids. Starter kits of soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. were provided, but I would suggest bringing your own if you are staying more than 2 or 3 days and have a large group. There were enough towels for everyone, but you will need to bring your own beach towels if you intend to go to the beach. There was also no supply of basic grocery items (salt, pepper, etc), so if you plan to cook, you will need to bring your own spices and seasonings. Overall, we would definitely recommend this property to others and would stay here again!

Stayed Jul 19, 2025I have rented many beachfront homes, by far this house was the most misrepresented on-line. I did not think this house was worth the 10K weekly rate. There is no open floor plan, despite the pictures. This house was the worst design we have experienced, it was too split up. The ONLY decks are on the second level, which IS NOT where everyone congregates. The kitchen did not have one decent frying pan, luckily we brought our own griddles. Glasses, dinner wear, and other cooking utensils were adequate. There was a Mr Coffee with the wrong pot (which made a mess that first morning) and a Keurig with no K-Cup refill that could be used. Take your own K-Cups. There are no spices, or customary kitchen supplies at all, NOTHING. We left salt and pepper so the next guests would have something to start with. The second level bathroom toilet was not used until Thursday. On the first flush the handle fell on the floor. When we tried to fix it there was no hardware in the tank. That tells me the maid did not clean it since it didn't flush properly, unless the maid rigged the handle back on.The Gameroom is useless, we used it for an hour one night. It was 100 degrees in there during the day and not much better at night. There is only a floor fan and humidifier that did nothing. The worst issue is the floors, they are wood throughout, but not hardwood. My granddaughter got a major splinter in her toe from the floor in the bedroom.

Stayed May 28, 2024The house is large and accommodated a group of 8 adults and 4 children. The close proximity to the beach was perfect especially since we had a lot of beach gear (for the kids). The private boardwalk to the beach has stairs so a beach cart is kind of useless but the beach is so close it doesn’t matter. The house has a lot of stairs as everything is broken up across multiple levels and the kitchen is on the top level. This want a problem for us. The rooftop has amazing views of both the ocean/beach and the marsh. There were a few deferred maintenance issues (a warped sliding door to a patio that wouldn’t open and a broken toilet handle that hopefully are addressed prior to future guests).

Stayed Mar 31, 2024We really enjoyed the house. It’s proximity to the beach and the game room on the main level was awesome with older and younger kids.

Stayed Mar 17, 2024Great stay in folly and the house is lovely with some exceptions. Previous guests left destroyed boogie boards and beach chairs outside of home. Several electrical issues with front outside lights not working and broken fixture on top deck. Exterior stairs from 2nd floor have at least 1 step that is coming loose, causing me to loose my footing and nearly fall. We did not use these steps again. Bedroom/bath description should note that 1 room has no bath and another has 2. As described, we assumed each room had their own bath. This was incorrect and had 2 people using the bathroom in another occupied room throughout the week and during the middle of the night. Not exactly great for sleeping. Will be back to folly, but will not stay in this property.
