Great home located in Creek Estates situated on over a half acre lot. The open floor plan and large kitchen make this home perfect for entertaining! The kitchen has granite countertops, double ovens and a gas cook top. The master suite is expansive with a great master bath, which includes a steam shower and a large garden tub. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, a bonus room and a full bath. Enjoy grilling out on the expansive back deck overlooking the maritime forest or enjoy your morning cup of coffee or evening glass of wine on the screen porch. Includes two 4 pass golf carts! BHI Club golf membership is available for a separate purchase and may be reserved prior to your arrival

    We usually do not leave negative reviews as I understand the impact this can have , however this situation warrants a review. For a property management group who prides themselves on “ being on the island “ they clearly in our opinion have not set foot in this propriety within a year and if they have it makes the situation even worse. This house is so misrepresented it’s appalling. My wife would barely use the shower it was in such gross condition. There were dead bugs all over the floor upon our arrival , the “ cleaning “ that takes place is clearly nothing more than putting the sheets they ask you to wash upon departure on the bed. Light switches were caked with what appeared to be blood but hopefully bbq sauce at best, we have pictures of everything and shared with the management group. They did ask why we didn’t let them know, however when you only have 2 nights and one day the last item you want to deal with is something you should never of had to deal with in the first place while wasting your one full day, especially given we wasted an hour dealing with a golf cart flat tire after being on the island for 45 minutes, I will get to this later.The cleanliness is just the tip of the iceberg, both golf carts were in such bad shape only one was useable , this golf cart blew a tire in the first hour we used it , after looking at the tire I cannot believe from a liability perspective they allowed this golf cart to be used by renters. The tire was completely bald and clearly not been inspected by anyone in who knows how long , had this blown at full speed with our child onboard I can only imagine the repercussions. Carpets are stained so badly we had to wear sandals ,the wood flooring has holes completely thru it near doors, the porch railing will create a lawsuit at some point down the road if anyone leans against it. The deterioration of this house inside and out is insane, again this company has clearly in my opinion not stepped foot into this property in years and again if they have it’s even worse. It’s either willful negligence or pure negligence, when I shared the pictures they agreed it was “ below their standards “, their solution on the $1200 + fee we paid was to give us 15% back which is honestly laughable. I gave them the opportunity to do the right thing but their attitude has left me no choice but to alert future renters of this property and what I can’t only assume would be their attitude towards other properties. Avoid !!!

    This is a beautiful property and feels much larger than it is due to the spacious high ceilings and beautiful windows. The house was clean on arrival and we were contacted to make sure we didn’t have any issues checking in. Plenty of space for all in our family and for another small family that came to stay for part of it. The owners were amazing and allowed us to hang out later when we couldn’t get a return ferry out until later the morning of check in after a busy holiday weekend. We also loved the new restaurant on the island, I think it’s called jailhouse provisions. One of the golf carts loses the charge quickly but we let the owner know on check out and I’m sure it will be resolved. Very well priced for the size. Will stay in this house again without a doubt!

    Property rental company was wonderful. The house has basic furnishings but it’s clearly a rental. Comfortable beds, poor lighting and not a lot of charm. I would rent here again if i did not have other options. Convenient location near the market.

    The home is spacious, great location, and beautifully decorated. There were issues with palmetto bugs inside, which is likely to be a challenge given its wooded location.. The golf carts were functional but with limitations- one could not gain full speed and one would loose power and speed when the lights were on. The gas range had knobs that were stuck or unable to be lit without a manual fire starter. Other than these issues, we had an enjoyable stay. Not related to this property but to the island in general is the unpredictable ferry service. We had delays between 45 minutes to an hour trying to get on and off the island.

    We were very happy with Bald Head Island Services but the house itself is just okay. It needs some TLC - including shades and new shower heads in master bathroom, some of the mattress pad covers and pillows need to be replaced, and a new charger or battery for one golf carts (stranded twice). Otherwise, it is in a good location, has an open floor plan and comfy couches!

    Great house centrally located on BHI. 4 bedrooms was perfect for our group of 7. Rental agency was responsive when we had a flat tire on our golf cart, fixed within hours. Large open family room and s separate living room were perfect. The open fireplace connecting the bedroom to the family room is a bit unfortunate from a privacy standpoint, they could add a cover or curtain at least. But overall great place!
