Wonderful beachfront home in an unbeatable location. The house was perfect for our large group, with a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable, well-appointed bedrooms. Kristin was an excellent host—friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this property.

Overall the place is beautiful and the location is awesome! The kitchen is great and had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable. The golf carts were great and we used them daily.The owner was very responsive and very easy to communicate with, which we did have to do because there was an issue with the tv’s and WiFi. Evidently they had an electrical issue a few weeks prior due to lightening, which knocked out the Wi-Fi and tv’s. I do believe that the owner was not aware of any issues that were still not resolved.We are not usually big tv people when on vacation but since it is college football season, we did want to watch our college team, which played Saturday night (the day we arrived). Luckily our sons were able to use the hotspot from their phone to connect to their laptop, then connect laptop to the tv (to use as a monitor) with an HDMI cord so that we could watch the game! It was a lot but it worked!Then on Monday the Spectrum tech came and hooked up the Wi-Fi, so all was good. However, the living room tv still did not work, but we didn’t need it. The only other thing was when we arrived, you go through the back door to go up the stairwell to open up the house, there were a lot of dead bugs in that stairwell and all around the window sill… so would suggest that they just do a good shop vac cleaning of that back area, since that is your first impression when you get there.. which had me a bit nervous but the inside house was very clean.

House was perfect-great location, nicely furnished, and beautiful. Kitchen well appointed, nice golf carts, spacious layout, beds comfy with quality linens-everything we needed!

Everything about the house was great! The owner was responsive and fantastic to interact with too.

From start to finish our stay was amazing. The check in and check out is seamless. The 10 AM check out time is so much better than other places that have 8 or 9 AM departures. The house is beautiful on the inside and outside. It is spacious and cozy at the same time. The beds and sheets are very comfortable. We spent each night on the balcony star gazing over the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped and hammock created a lovely napping spot. The location is perfect for early morning or evening beach walks. The owner thought of everything (even extra paper towels!!) to make our stay comfortable. We have rented in BHI for 10 consecutive years and this house, the gracious owner and the location is in the top 2 of our favorite places.

Great location steps from the beach with awesome ocean views from the second story balconies! The host was very responsive and accommodating, as well!

We had a wonderful time this Spring at 3 Monkeys. The home is very comfortable with amazing ocean views with many outdoor areas to enjoy the weather and soak in the ocean breeze. The home is very well equipped. Everything you need to head right to the beach or bike through the island. The two golf carts are new and having both a 4 and 6 person cart was perfect for our group. Our family has stayed at Bald Head many times and have stayed at many different parts of the island and this is now one of our favorite spots.

This house made our first experience on BHI unforgettable. The beautiful updates and gorgeous beach views were a major highlight of the house. Our kids loved the upstairs bunk bed room and enjoyed their own space. The owner, Kristin, was super helpful and easy to be in touch with which was great because we knew nothing about the island. The house comes with 2 golf carts, all the beach stuff you need, bikes etc that also made packing much easier for our family of 5. We highly recommend this home to any other beach lovers like ourselves! Family core memories were made here for sure. We will be back!!

We were looking for a nice place on the beach to kickoff summer break and this was definitely it. This was our first time to the island so we really didn’t know what to expect. We had such a great time. Three Monkeys is located directly across from a beach access point which was so convenient. Kristin also had several items in the garage such as beach chairs and buckets for the kids that came in handy. Kristin promptly answered all of our questions ahead of time. We had a couple of questions when we checked in and she immediately responded. The house is very well stocked with essentials such as paper products as well as pots/pans for cooking. We cooked several of our meals and didn’t have to worry about not having a pan or utensil. We really enjoyed our getaway and look forward to returning again in the future.
